Faye's Pov

"Mcdonalds pancakes have never tasted so good" Bryce basically moaned from the back seat, over dramatically throwing his head back as he chowed down on his breakfast.

"Mcdonalds pancakes have never tasted good" Faye scrunched up her nose, taking a sip of her tea.

"Take that back" his mouth dropped, "with your hash brown having ass" now it was Fayes turn to have her jaw drop, holding her hash brown up so he could see it.

"This is heaven in a breakfast food" she stated, looking to Josh who only laughed and shook his head, taking another bite of his egg mcmuffin.

"Pancakes are fluffy" Bryce told her, shaking his tray a bit, "like clouds"

"Hash browns are golden," she mocked, "like the sun"

"Yeah well-" Bryce started to argue back before the car came to an abrupt stop.

"We're here" Jaden grumbled out, quickly undoing his seatbelt and grabbing his drink and breakfast, "now get out my car and leave me alone for the next two weeks" he stormed away and into the house.

"Someones on their period" Bryce joked, earning an eye roll from Faye.

"Shut up Bryce"

"Thats all you've said for the past day" he frowned, opening the door.

"You should take the advise" Josh told him, smiling.

"So mean" he sniffed jokingly before shrugging and walking into the house, no doubt to piss off Jaden some more.

Faye smiled at Josh one last time, waving her hand slightly as she crossed the grass separating their houses, getting closer to the door.

"Wait" she heard, before spinning around.

"Yeah?" She asked, her hand resting on the door knob.

"Do you want to eat breakfast with us" he asked, moving his hand behind his back and laughing when Faye looked at his nearly finished breakfast muffin.

"I can't," she told him, "I need to get ready."

"What for?" He asked, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Our adventure" she smiled, before opening the door and going inside her house, catching his small laugh.

"And where have you been, young lady?" Lacey joked as herself and Lewis popped their heads into Fayes bedroom, seeing her at her dressing table.

"Ghost hunting with the boys, because Lewis was too scared" she smirked, looking at them through the mirror.

"Hey!" He objected, but it was barely audible over Lacey's loud gasp.

"You have other friends?" Her eyes widened teasingly as she walked into the room, jumping onto Fayes bed as she finished up her light make up.

"You're cheating on us" Lewis continued, flopping down next to her, leaning his chin on his elbow.

"I'm sorry to break it to you" she kissed her teeth before breaking into a smile, standing up to see her outfit in her full body mirror.

She went for a casual look, blue jeans with a purple button up crop top. Her hair was in low, loose ponytails by her ears.

"You look cute" Lacey told her, standing up and picking a piece of lint off of her top, "where are you going?"

"Out with Josh" she couldn't help but smile as Lacey squealed.

"Next door Josh?" Faye nodded, "where are you going? What are you doing? Do you know-"

"Lacey, take a breath" Lewis told him, pushing himself up and pulling his phone out.

"Sorry," she smiled shyly, "i'm just excited,"

"It's all good" Faye shrugged, deciding that she looked fine, she went to join Lewis on the bed.

"How was the house?" He asked, glancing at her before going back to his phone, no doubt twitter, he was obsessed.

"It was good, the flashlights went off and they said Bryce's name" his face fell as he looked back at her, "you would have hated it" she commented.

"Oh, please" Lacey laughed, looking in the mirror herself before joining them on the bed, leaning on Lewis, "he would have hated it without all of that"

"He would have hated it it the wind hit the door wrong" Faye laughed.

"Or if the floor creaked" Lacey continued.

"Or-"

"Okay, okay!" He cut them off, rolling his eyes, "I get it"

The two girls looked at each other before bursting out laughing, pushing his shoulder as they teased him more.

"Bullies," he shook his head, "high school bullies" he spoke in a funny voice, mocking the video circulating at the moment.

"Don't you have a date to go on" he spoke after a few moments of their laughter, wanting them to stop.

"It's not a date" she told him.

"If it's not a date why have you done your full makeup and are wearing your new shoes" he countered as the three looked down at her new purple tick Nike air force ones.

"Because some of us like to look nice when we leave the house, Lewis" she told him, standing up.

"Please, i've seen you wear the same top for three weeks before" he rolled him eyes jokingly, earning a laugh from Lacey.

"Shut up," she pushed her boyfriends shoulder, "go have fun, but not too much fun, and be back by ten- eleven at the latest" Lacey rambled standing up to hug Faye, handing her a lip gloss tube as she pulled away, "use this, the glitter will do you wonders" Faye smiled, nodding.

"Thanks mom"

"Shut up," Lacey laughed, "go have fun"

"Use protection" Lewis shouted at Faye skipped down the stairs, laughing as she walked out the door.

It didn't take long for Josh to open the door after she knocked, a large smile on his face.

"Ready?" He asked, shutting the door behind him and taking her to his car.

"As i'll ever be"
