Jais pov

I look around the room at everyone. But I feel like there is someone missing. I look around again and it hits me. " Where's CJ?" Everyone looks at me and then George and he looks down " None of us have seen her in over 3 weeks. I have texted and called her but nothing. Maybe you should try." I nod then put my hand out for my phone. He puts it in my hand and I open it. Going straight to her number and calling and she answered " George calling me from jai's phone is such a low blow." I look shocked and say " Yea that would be true if it wasn't actually me calling you." I hear her gasp " Jai your awake." I nod saying " Yea and no one has seen you in 3 weeks, where are you?" Then I hear a guy in the back and CJ screaming and I say " CJ? CJ are you ok?" I look at George and say " something just happened. We were talking then I heard a guy and she screamed George do something." I start to feel dizzy and put a hand on my head. A nurse runs in and says " she is having a dizzy spill. I have to give her the feeding tube." I look at this nurse and say "Tube? Why can't I just eat like a normal person?" She looks at me and says " you'll have to eat through a tube for a while because we are still giving you antibiotics and you're getting probiotics through the I.V." I nod and she proceeded to stick the tube up my nose. I look at George and he says " I'm gonna see if I can help CJ." Then walks out.

 

George's Pov.

I go down to the waiting room where the reception is better. I call CJ like 100 times and nothing. So I thought of the next best people to call. Detective Light and Officer Coast. When they get to the hospital I let them know Jai's up but that there is something wrong. Just as I am telling them what happened I hear "I'm fine, it's only a cut. Let me go, this is agents the law." And I look over to see CJ fighting the paramedics off. I walk over and we make eye contact. "CJ let them see you. Then me and you are gonna have a talk no bullshit this time." She nods and says " can you come with me?" I nod and shoot Jai a text. Then I tell Detective Light and Officer Coast jai's room. I walk over to CJ. I sit in the chair next to her. After the doctors see her and stitch up her arm. I look over at her and say " what happened? Why haven't you been around for 3 weeks?" She shakes her head and I say " CJ you're safe with me, I'm not going to say or do anything to hurt you." She looks down and says " My aunt and uncle kicked me out. I've been on the streets, I didn't come cause I knew you'd be able to tell something was up. I was hoping you guys would forget about me." I shake my head and say " Forgetting someone is not as simple as out of sight out of mind. Especially since you've made such a mark. You can live with us, just please don't have sex with Jai in my house." 

She looks up at me shocked and says " Excuse me?" I laugh and say " I see the way you look at her, I know you like her." She shakes her head and says " Even if I did, which I'm not saying I do, that doesn't mean she likes me back." I laugh and say " Come on let's go see Jai." As we walked towards the elevator I heard my name being called and looked over to see Chris. I tell CJ, jai's room in case she forgot and I walk over to him and we walk outside. "George I ju-'' Chris tries to say but just gets cut off. " You just what Chris? You just realized how much of a dick you are? You just noticed that you left in the middle of one of the worst moments in everyone's life? You just wanna come back, now that jai's up?" He shakes his head and says "No I just wanted to say sorry again and bring you your keys to the house." He holds the keys out and looks down at the ground.

 I say " Chris, I want you to know now that if I take those keys from you and you get in your car and drive off, there's no going back. You don't get a do over tomorrow night or ever again." He nods and says "I-I know. I love you please don't ever think I don't cause I do. My feelings are real, always have been. Here." He takes my hand and puts the keys in it kisses my hand and then my cheek and walks away. I watch him leave and look at his keys in my hand and start to tear up but shake it away. I turn around and walk back into the hospital. I go up on the elevator and walk in. Jai looks over at me pissed and crying. Everyone one looks over at me and I say " What happend?" 

Jai's Pov

George just sent me a text saying she found CJ and that there were 2 people coming up to see me. I looked around and tried to figure out who it could be and I noticed that I haven't seen chris. The door opens a few minutes later and I see 2 cops and the girl one says "Hi Jai, I'm detective Light I caught your case a few days before you were found." I nod and then the man speaks " I'm officer Coast, I was on the multi state wide search for you and 2 other girls. I was the one who found you." I looked over at him and said softly " I remember your voice, yea you're the one who went on the ambulance with me. I remember your eyes, so confident yet sad , and scared." It gets really quiet and a nurse walks in to put the feeding tube in. I see her carrying 3 bags of the 'food' and says " why so much?" And she says " well since your eating for 2 you nee-" I cut her off " what the fuck do you mean by 'eating for 2’." 

She looks at me shocked and says " You're pregnant." I say " no I am not. Your crazy lady." She shakes her head " No sweetie you don't understand." I say "No you don't understand I'm not pregnant." And I say that sentence CJ walks in and says "What the fuck?" We all look at her and she says " Why do you think she's pregnant?" The doctor says " I Don't think she's pregnant, we know she is." I say " No the fuck I'm not." The nurse blurts out " You were raped while you were kidnapped." I say " Yes captain obviously, I know that, I went through it but after every time they let one of their friends do me they hosed me down then beat the shit out of me. So there is no way a baby could have lived after all that." She looks down and says " well that one did." 

I looked at my stomach and could feel all hope leave me. Hope, the one thing George gave me was hope and in this moment I could feel it leaving me as a tear rolls down my face. Just then George walks into the room and we all look at him and he says " what happened?" CJ says " did you know she was pregnant?” I can see his face drop and he says "Who told her?" I get snarky " That's not the fucking point you nitwit. You should have told me." He says " I was going to tell you tonight when everyone left. I'm so sorry for not telling you sooner." I look at Anna who looks completely confused about what is happening. I say " I want everyone who is not CJ or George or Anna, out now please." I look over at Lucy and say " you can stay too." She nods as everyone leaves and when they are gone I look at Anna and tell George to sit her in front of me and say to her " I have something I have to tell you. I don't want you to be mad at me. Do you know the difference between mommy and sister?" 

She nods and says " A mommy is someone who meets a daddy and they get a baby like a gift from God or something. A sister is a girl baby then a gift baby too she just comes later." I nod and say " yes you're right, but I need you to know that I'm not your sister. I'm supposed to be your mommy, but you remember bad daddy? He made me tell you I was your sister so he could get away with doing a very bad thing." She looks down then back at me and says "ok so do I call you mommy or do I call sister still?” we all looked at her shocked and I said " whatever you want." She says " can I still call George daddy" I nod and say "Yea if  you want too." She nods. I look at George and say " where the hell is Chris?" He looks down and says " he walked out on us when we found you.' I nod and say " Fuck him" Anna says " Yea Fuck Him." 

We all look at her wide eyes and say " Anna Lucia watch your mouth please." Everyone laughs,and I look at CJ and say "where the fuck have you been? Making people worry and shit."  She looks down and says " we can talk about it later." I nod and look at Lucy and say" has anything been going on with you?" She nods and says " I'm being fostered by these really nice women and men who have 2 sons. The woman is a lawyer scientist and the man is a Broadway performer. " We nod and I say " That's really good Lucy. Now that I think about it, that sounds a lot like Lin Manuel Meranda and his wife Vanessa." She nods and says " yea how'd you know?" We all look at her and CJ practically loses her mind. I look at the scene that is meant to be special and happy but can't seem to get myself there.
