Ch-20 - Arrested

"Mom, I really don't want to fight you. Please don't kill her!" Rebecca tried to protest. "I will kill anything that reminds me of HER, even if it means killing your friend." She said.

"I understand if you want to marry Sophie's dad, but you don't have to kill her! We can be step sisters! Please.." "Nothing related to HER will have my mercy!" She screamed.

"Mom, for me! I promise I'll listen to you, without questions and protests, until I turn 18! That's what I've been doing my entire life." Rebecca cried out.

"If you get in my way, I'll have to end you too, daughter. Its not like I care about you anyways." She said. At this point, Rebecca was speechless. Her own mother confessed that she didn't care about her. Two tears fell out of her eyes.

"Very well, then kill me." Rebecca stated, emotionlessly. "What?!" Both Sophie and Rebecca's mother said together. "Let's see his much you hate me. Kill me, if you can." Rebecca stated.

"You asked for it." Rebecca's mom said and pointed the gun at her. Sophie froze in her place, while Jacob stood in front of her. "Don't you dar—" Jacob got cut off.

They heard sirens. Police sirens. "Who called the police?!" Her mother screamed. Rebecca smiled. So did Sophie and Jacob. The plan worked.

"You have your phone on you, right?" Rebecca asked. "Yea, here it is." Sophie said taking out her phone. "Good. I need you to record the conversation between me and my mom." Rebecca said.

"Also, Jacob is accompanying us, right?" "Yea, why?" "When my mom comes out of the car, tell him to call the police." "Okay.."

"You are under arrest for threatening two teens about taking their life and killing many more people." The police said and put her hands in a handcuff. Rebecca's mother struggled to break free, but alas failed.

Sophie and her family were finally safe now. But there was still one problem...

Rebecca will be sent to foster care as she doesn't has any guardian to take care of her. And the foster care was in another city, so Rebecca couldn't attend Pearl International anymore.

Like Rebecca, Sophie didn't want to lose her too. So, she made a plan.

"Dad, can I ask you something?" Sophie asked her father. "Why honey? What's wrong?" "Can you adopt Rebecca?" "Why?! Isn't she the one who bullied you?" He ashed.

"Yes, but she is also the one who saved me. Now, she's going to a foster care centre in another city. I don't want to lose her! She's like a sister to me!" Sophie pleaded.

"I'll think about it.." He said. And the next thing Sophie knew, was Rebecca moving in to their house with a large suitcase.

"Yass! Finally! We're actually sisters!" Sophie was jumping throughout the house while Rebecca was moving in.

At first, Joey was against it, but after hearing what she did for Sophie, he eventually agreed and accepted Rebecca as his friend and Sophie's sister.

Happy ending, eh? Not yet.

Charlotte on the other hand, never accepted Rebecca, but Rebecca was okay with it. After all the things she did, she didn't even expect Sophie to accept her. But she did. But Charlotte, never.

But deep inside, Charlotte knew that she'd always be grateful to Rebecca for saving Sophie. The end?

But the biggest question. Did Sophie fulfil her dream?

Hey guys! I'm very sad to say it but, this is the last chapter of Dream. I know y'all are like, did Sophie become an author? The answer will be in the epilogue. I really enjoyed writing this, as it was my first story. I'm sorry this was short but I ran out of ideas. I'll really miss the characters, especially Rebecca. She was my favourite character. She gives a valuable life lesson too. No matter how bad you are, you will always have a chance to change yourself to something good. Though everyone might not accept you, you'll know that you deserved it. Thank you for reading my first story. There's more stories coming soon, the first one out of them will be named 'Best Friend' so look out for it! And of course I'll upload an epilogue! We need to know if Sophie became an author or not. Anyways,
