Hidden Book 1: Earth (Klance)

Six

I open my eyes, I'm in a large room with nothing but the blue bag Keith brought sitting on a table in front of me. I walk over to the bag, and open it. A large metal blue lion jumps out of the bag and looms over me.

I turn around and theres a pentagon on the floor. It's split into five parts, black, red, blue, yellow and green. I stand on the blue part of it.

Suddenly Keith appears, in his Galra form on the red, followed by Shiro on the black, Hunk on yellow, and Pidge on green. Then we all turn into metal lions of the color we're standing on, but the black one has red wings.

I wake up with a start, I want to know whats in the bag, and why I can't open it.

I carefully climb over Keith and look at the blue bag laying on the night stand. I grab it, and open it to find nothing in it. Why was I not allowed to open it? I look in the mirror beside me.

The blue lines under my eyes that I cover up are glowing through the foundation. I jump and run to the bathroom to try and cover them up again.

~Keith's POV~
I wake up to see the bathroom door close. Lance isn't beside me, "Why's he up in the middle of the night?"

I look around and my eyes land on the blue bag, open. He opened it, Lance is the blue paladin.

He comes out of the bathroom, when he sees me up, he immediately begins to apologize. "I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't have opened the bag. But curiosity got the best of me. I'm so-" I put my hand over his mouth.

"No I said you couldn't, not shouldn't. I said you couldn't because only the paladins of voltron can open the bags. I could open the red, so I'm the red paladin. My brother, Shiro opened the black, he's the black paladin. Because you opened the blue bag, that makes you the blue paladin, pilot of the blue lion."

"Lion? I had a dream where I turned into a giant metal blue lion. You turned into a red one, Shiro turned into a black one with wings, Hunk turned into a yellow one, and Pidge turned into a green one."

His eyebrows furrow. "Okay, we need to see if your dream is right. Because, we need to find the yellow and green paladins before we can form Voltron. And if your dream is true, that made everything so much easier."

"Pidge will be awake at this time," I say, "I'll text her. But we'll have to wait for Hunk tomorrow."

I pull out my phone and text Pidge.

I told you about the paladins needed to save the universe

Well, turns out that I'm the blue paladin

Keith and I think you might be the green one, and Hunk might be the yellow one

Awesome bring the bags to school tomorrow

"We're bringing the bags to school for them to try and open." I say.

"Okay, I hope this works." Keith says.

"Me too, now that I'm a much larger part of it."

He smiles and lays a hand on my shoulder, "You'll be an amazing paladin."

I smile back at him and feel my face get hot, "Thank you. But, we should probably get some sleep." I say and roll back over against the wall, soon falling asleep.
