"I was here first!" Edmund snapped, throwing the curtain aside.

I huffed at him then pulled Lucy behind me, taking the stairs at an run.

We tried multiple doors until Lucy found one that wasn't locked, slipping inside.

There was nothing in the room other then a large rectangle shaped thing, covered with a white sheet.

Lucy bounced over to it as I shut the door behind me, making sure Peter was still counting, I walked over to Lucy who grabbed the sheet with both hands.

She pulled it off, dust flying everywhere.

I sneezed, blinking furiously.

"Bless you." Lucy said, not looking away from the wardrobe.

It looked like apple wood with trees, crowns, apples, a sunset, and two lion heads carved into it.

I reached up and opened the door, shooing Lucy in.

"Aren't you coming Elentiya?" she asked quietly.

I smiled and shook my head.

"I have a better place, don't worry."

Lucy nodded and started shutting the door.

"Lucy?"

"Yes?" she peeked out.

"You can call me Ellen." I winked and she giggled, closing the door until it was a inch away from the frame, for everyone knew you never shut yourself into a wardrobe.

I ran back out into the hall, skidding around the corner and crawling under a sofa.

Peter was still counting, thank the stars.

"95, 96, 97, 98, 99.....100! Ready or not, here I come!"

I grinned, knowing he'd never find me.

Shouting erupted from down the hall, knowing it was Lucy I jumped out and started running in that direction.

Lucy came out of the same room, waving her hands.

"I'm alright! I'm back!"

I stopped a few feet from her, blinking in confusion.

Edmund pulled the curtains back.

"Shut up he's coming!"

Peter came up the stairs then, also stopping.

Edmund huffed and stomped out of his hiding place.

He sure doesn't act his age, I thought, folding my arms.

Peter looked between us.

"I don't think you understand just how this game works...."

Susan came then, smiling.

"Does this mean I win?"

Her brother nodded.

"I don't think Lucy wants to play anymore."

Lucy frowned, staring at the four of us.

"Haven't you been wondering where I've been?"

Edmund scowled, rolling his eyes.

"That's the point. He was seeking you!"

Peter glared at him as Lucy stepped back.

"But I've been gone for hours..."

I stared at her, so did the others.

Ten minutes later, Susan was pushing apart the fur coats in the wardrobe, searching for the magical land Lucy had claimed she had found.

Edmund was knocking on the back, Susan on the inside. She pulled back, shrugging.

"The only woods in there is the back of the wardrobe."

Peter sighed.

"One game at a time, Lu. We all don't have your imagination."

I lingered with her as Susan led the way to the door, Lucy's blue eyes brightened with tears.

"But I wasn't imagining!"

Susan turned again.

"That's enough Lucy." She said firmly.

"I wouldn't lie about this!"

I almost dropped over at the next words from Edmund.

"Well I believe you."

Peter gave him a warning look as Lucy blinked.

"You do?"

"Of course! Didn't I ever tell you about the football field in the bathroom cupboard?"

I frowned and Peter whirled on him.

"Will you just stop? You just have to make everything worse don't you?"

"It was just a joke,"

"When are you going to start acting like your a teenager instead of a 7 year old?"

Edmund scowled and walked out.

Susan closed her eyes, following him.

"Well that was nicely handled." She said over her shoulder.

I put a hand on Lucy's shoulder as Peter looked at her.

"It was really there..."

"Susan's right. That's enough." He glared at me after he said it, as if this was my fault, then went after his siblings.

I crouched down to Lucy's level, wiping a tear off her cheek.

"I suppose you don't believe me either?"

I looked down at the floor then into her eyes.

"Lucy...I know you're not lying, somehow I do. But how is it possible?"

She leaned closer.

"Magic," she whispered. "It's a portal."

I smiled.

"Well I'll make you a deal. If somehow you can get back into that world and bring me something, I'll personally make you a whole batch of cookies and never doubt you again."

"Just for me?" Lucy gasped.

I nodded, turning and pulling her onto my back, she wrapped her arms around my neck while giggling.

I stood, walking out into the hall.

"Faster faster!"

I groaned and started jogging, making my way to the library again.
