"Peter winds up, poised to take yet another wicket!"

I yawn, turning the page of my book as Peter throws the cricket ball.

Edmund yelped as it hit his leg.

"Ow!"

Lucy rolled her eyes, closing her own book and sighing, the poor girl had been miserable all day.

Peter chuckled, picking up the ball again.

"Whoops. Wake up dolly day dream."

"Why can't we play hide and seek again?" Edmund complained.

"I thought you hated that game, Ed." Peter said, waving a fly away from him.

"Besides we could all use the fresh air!" Susan chimed in cheerily.

"It's not like there isn't air inside." Edmund muttered.

I smiled, he caught my gaze and smirked before we both looked away.

Peter raised his arm again.

"Ready?"

"Are you?" Edmund swung and hit the ball, sending it sailing upward.

Right through one of the top windows of the mansion.

We all froze, then took off running across the grass and up the stairs.

"Oh well done Ed." Peter grumbled, looking down at the broken armor.

"You threw it!"

"What on earth are you children doing up there!?"

"The Macready!" We all hissed, racing out of the room.

Lucy led the way, throwing open the door that led to the wardrobe.

"You've got to be kidding me." Susan whined.

Peter opened the door and we all climbed in, he closed it behind him, not all the way though.

For everyone knew to never lock yourself in a wardrobe.

We all walked backwards, yelping and shouting as we stepped on eachothers feet.

Something pricked my hand and I jerked away, tripping Susan and Peter in the process.

I inhaled deeply, pine and snow were the main smells, along with smoke and flowers.

Since when was I able to smell things I couldn't even see?

I stepped over Peter, still sprawled in the snow, and turned in a slow circle.

"Wow..... It's beautiful!"

The others joined me, their faces in awe.

Except Lucy of course.

"Don't worry. I'm sure it's only your imagination."

I looked down at her, but Peter beat me in speaking.

"I'm guessing sorry won't completely cover it."

"No," Lucy nailed him with a snowball. "but that might!"

Then we started a snowball fight, shrieking and laughing.

Edmund started complaining after awhile, Peter turned on him and looked him straight in the eye.

"You little liar!"

"You didn't believe her either!"

"Apologize to Lucy."

Edmund sighed, glaring at Peter.

"Sorry."

Lucy grinned smugly.

"It's alright. Some little kids don't know when to stop pretending."

I chuckled but Susan frowned.

"Maybe we should go back."

I watched the split moment of panic go across Edmund's face.

"Can't we at least have a look around?"

"I think Lucy should decide."

I nodded in agreement.

"I'd like you all to meet Mr. Tumnus!" Peter smiled.

"Then Mr. Tumnus it is!"

I led the way after the others had gotten coats from the wardrobe.

I didn't take one, the cold didn't bother me much.

Lucy walked beside me after awhile, a slight breeze came up and blew my hair back over my shoulders again.

Lucy suddenly gave a little shriek, scrambling back from me.

"What is it?" I whipped to the side, searching for danger.

"Your uh your ears!" I blinked, reaching up and touching them, they weren't human ears anymore. Instead they sloped into points.

Edmund came up to investigate, glancing at me for permission before touching them.

"They're real alright."

"Please tell me they don't look weird."

"Nah. They're only a little bit longer than before and pointy."

Now Peter stepped up beside Ed, snapping his fingers.

"They're like um...Oh what are those things with pointy ears?"

"Elves?" Susan suggested.

I stepped back.

"You think I'm a elf?"

None of them said anything but their faces said it all. Somehow I knew it was true.

I was a elf.

Hope you're all enjoying it! Don't be afraid to comment! :) (If you didn't see this earlier, Elentiya's hair is brown now.)
