NEXT DAY
Everyone is having breakfast. Someone rings the bell.

Vikram:- me dekhta hu.
And goes to open the door.

He comes back with a parcel in his hand.
Vikram:- yeh kya hai? Aap logo ne kuch mangaya tha kya?

Kaushalya:- khol kar dekh le.

Vikram opens it and finds sports shoes in it.
Vikram:- sports shoes!!
And looks at his father.

Bhushan:- haan. Tere result ke liye mangaye the.

Vikram:- lekin-

But bhushan interrupts him.
Bhushan:- me jaanta hu. Kal mene gussa kiya tha tujh par. Lekin fr teri mummy ke jaane ke baad soch raha tha unki baat. Toh mujhe laga ki shayad galti meri hi hai. Mujhe tujh par kal gussa nahi karna chahiye tha.

Kaushalya and guddan gets happy. Vikram also smiles but still sad because he wanted to hear something else.

Bhushan:- me chalta hu.
Gets up and goes outside. Kaushalya also goes with him till the door.

AFTER 5 MINS
Kaushalya comes inside.
Kaushalya:- toh beta, kaisa laga gift?

Guddan happily comes to him.
Guddan:- woww!! Sports shoes!! Bahut hi acche hai bhai.

Kaushalya:- guddan, yeh shoes Vikram ke liye hai. Tu itni khush kyu ho rahi hai? Kahi tujhe toh nahi chahiye na yeh shoes?

Guddan:- mumma yeh aap kya keh rahe ho?

Guddan:- mumma-
Vikram gets irritated and stops guddan in mid.

Vikram:- beti hai woh aapki. Aap uske baare me aisa soch bhi kaise sakte hai ki woh aisa kuch karegi. Hum dono hi aapke bacche hai. Yeh shoes mere paas rahe ya guddan ke paas. Usse koi fark nahi padta. Aur waise bhi mujhe yeh shoes nahi chahiye.

Kaushalya:- dekha guddan!! Ab yeh shoes vikram tujhe nahi de paayega isliye ab use bhi nahi chahiye. Waah.

Guddan is teary eyed.
Vikram:- bas karo yaar mumma. Yeh shoes mujhe papa ki wajah se nahi chahiye.

Guddan and kaushalya look at him shocked.
Kaushalya:- kyu?

Vikram:- mujhe papa ke gifts ya unka sorry nahi chahiye. Unka pyaar, bharosa aur most importantly unka appreciation chahiye. Joh mujhe nahi mila aaj tak.
And keep shoes on floor and goes away.

Kaushalya:- guddan, samjha na beta use.

Guddan just nods and also goes to her brother. Guddan open the door and sees vikram upset. Guddan wipes her tears and comes to him.

Guddan:- bhai, yeh aapne kya kiya?

Vikram looks at her frustrated.
Vikram:- tu fr se unki side mat lene lag jaana guddan please.

Guddan:- arey bhai, me kisi ki side nahi le rahi. Meri baat toh sun lo ek baar.

Vikram:- nahi sunni.
And turns his face away.

Guddan comes in front of him with a cute face.
Guddan:- please.
