"Don't say that!"
His hot exhales crosses her face, their eyes never parted ways. He was staring at her onyx one while she stares at his ocean blue ones...
"It will never ever be just temporary, I love you, not just now... always." He whispered
She felt a bit of romantic excitement, as her face was been cup by both of his hands
"Loving you is all I care about now. You taught me things that I shouldn't have ignored. I started to think about the things I'd never done once considered. Life, our life... I wanted us to walk together... happiness just linger around us... together, we'll face the future."
Her eyes widen at his abrupt promises. He may act all ignorant but this time, he means it.
"Even how many excuses, how many boundaries we may come across... I'll still love you."
"Even at our worst?" She muffled
"Forever."
He rested his forehead against her own. Closing his eyes to feel the pleasure of the atmosphere persisting around them.
"I have chosen you because I fell for you... even if you're not the best."
He loses his cupping a bit but still didn't let go...
She felt a heavyweight has lifted from her heart. All his promises, all his declaration made all confusion to be cleared.
I can't control this feeling... I can't stop my heart from beating... I can't stop falling in love with him more... I don't know why I'm in love with him but... I'm glad that... he's the one I fell for...
She smiled, knowing that the truth and all his thoughts have been admitted to her without any hesitation. Then that means he was sure of her, sure to be with her... just as he said, forever.
She never even once did anticipate for him to tell her this, as for everyone knew, a person that made a promise was ignorant. After all, promises are indeed an act of ignorance...
All have been good in these past few months, but she can't help feeling insecure every time.
But today, at dawn. The sun has slowly risen from the east. Before, she would stare at the sunset and asking herself 'Should I?' And waiting for it to come on its edge, but now... she saw a new beginning, as the sunrise had just begun.
"Bolt?"
There it is again, that soft voice spoke his side name she invented, just for him.
"Yeah?" Still closing his eyes, he smiled.
"Bolt... I love you." She softly whispered
Baruto withdraws his forehead to take a good look at the lady in front of him. She rarely says those words but this morning she said it along with that side name of his.
He smiled at the beautiful sight "I love you too..."
__________
It was already 8:14 in the morning. He was still sleeping soundly in her bed as she was just sitting nearby.
She already prepared ginger tea in a classic vacuum bottle, being place on a nightstand. Apparently, just for preparation when he wakes up.
She already did all her routines in the morning. Watering the lilac outside, making breakfast, did the report and all she could ever do was just stare at that loving face.
His blonde hair that mostly covers up his forehead, the two whiskers on each side of his cheeks, and his moistened soft lips the carve perfectly.
She replayed all he said earlier...
It will never ever be just temporary, I love you, not just now... always
Even how many excuses, how many boundaries we may come across... I'll still love you
Forever...
Forever. Guess he meant eternity. She took a notebook that she often writes her poetries, simple but meaningful poetries.
While skipping pages she came across one poem that certainly she wrote exactly 5 months ago...
Natural physics does intertwine,
Why does this love have to be so blind?
How can time heal?
If some things can't be feel.Seemingly, If I may ask,
What is his remaining task?
Is it to be with someone who isn't me?
I just walk away and choose to be free. The sorrow heart heaves a deep sigh,
It meant that my heart isn't fine.
My concept of reality is pale,
That means there's no mere fairy tale. The heart whose on its peek,
Still can't see what needed to be seek.
When my path I walk on left
While you don't know how painful it felt.Did I ever regret writing this?... it wasn't foretold that my ending would be joyous?!
She smiled despite her thoughts have been uncertain about the fact that she proclaims it was worth to go and risk another shot to make things work in what she expected it to happen.
She didn't clearly assume for this to be perfect, just the life she wanted. She doesn't need a lavish house, good furniture or even to be rich.
All she wanted was to lead a happy life, and that's with the man she'll always love.
She wasn't going to believe it, not until her confusion had been answered, he answered it.
She starts writing a new one...
Ignore those who don't believe,
People do like to grieve.
A dream which you can't feel,
Can be seen as real.
I didn't conceive such fortune,
I want beautiful memories to continue.
After all this,
This life I led, was full of bliss. She knew, that everything was really worth it in the end. She lastly smiled before closing her notebook.
"What's with that smile?" Boruto just barge in that sweet moment
She looks back at the boy who's eyes met hers. He laid in sideways to clearly see what's going on.
"You're awake?!"
"Obviously." He took one glance at the notebook at her hand, "Did something made you happy? I kinda feel that my fragile heart was hurt because it isn't me." He pouted
She threw a fit giggle, "of course it's you silly!"
"So, you're writing something because of me?"
"It's always been you."
He gently patted his chest, "I think my heart skip a beat!"
"Why?" She thought something ominous, but clearly, it wasn't that
"Because you're cute!"
A/N: too many poems, sorry😅
