If Choi Sooyoung's house was big, then Luhan's house must be a palace.
Hyora, Baekhyun, Hanna, and Jongdae stared dumbstruck at Luhan's place, where they parked Jongdae's car at a vast lot along with other expensive-looking vehicles.
They walked towards the stream of people entering the front doors of the mansion, all chattering excitedly. The vast driveway was already packed with people, a few in fancy dresses while most were just in casual attire, including the four of them. Luhan and Sehun were standing by the open gigantic doors, welcoming everyone in.
"Hello, thank you for coming!" Sehun brightly greeted them, motioning for the doors with his hand.
"Do enjoy, ladies!" Luhan smirked at a group of giggling Junior girls as they entered the threshold.
Finally, the four reached the spot where Luhan and Sehun stood, and the both of them wore big, relieved smiles upon seeing them.
"Finally, some people that I actually know!" Luhan said, winking at Hyora. "Hey, Hyo! I'm very pleased you're here."
Hyora's blank face didn't even twitch.
Luhan, not even remotely surprised by her reaction, turned to Baekhyun instead. "Baekhyun! You're having your date with Taeyeon tomorrow, right?"
"Yeah, hyung," Baekhyun replied shyly, the tips of his ears turning red.
"Hyung, talk later, there are so many people behind them," they heard Sehun whisper to Luhan.
Luhan nodded curtly, an evident frown on his face, but he faced the four with a grin. "Well, then! You heard Sehunnie. Let's talk later! Jongdae, Hanna." Then he turned to the other two. "Baek, Hyo. You guys have fun!"
"Happy birthday, you two," Jongdae said as they walked past the pair.
"Thanks hyung!" "Thanks Dae!"
Then they made their way inside, and once again, they were stunned.
Inside was a huge white marble foyer, with a crystal chandelier dangling in the middle of the ceiling over an elegant staircase. The lights cast a beautiful golden glow on the entirety of the grand room. On both sides beneath the stairs were tall archways where everyone was entering, upbeat music faintly heard inside.
"This doesn't feel like a birthday party," Hanna muttered beside Hyora, her voice laced with uncertainty as she glanced around.
Hyora just scoffed. "Luhan is an obscenely rich boy that just loves to spend his family's money. Of course this is how he'll celebrate his birthday along with his also wealthy best friend."
None of them said a word when a half-naked man holding a bottle of soju came running from the right archway into the left. It was such an odd sight. They would never have thought seeing such a person in an extravagant foyer, let alone a millionaire's mansion.
