Pettigrew emerged from the tree's gap, being grabbed by Lupin, he was squirming and all, it really annoyed him so he had to act rough.

Petigrew rattled desperately. "Turn me into a maggot. A dung beetle. A flobberworm! Anything but the Dementors!"

Aries excitedly went to his side and leaned to him. "How about a chicken?" she asked.

He looked at her, eyes full of hope. "Yes! yes! a chicken! please!"

"Okay then," she lifted her wand and looked at it. "Although I can't decide between fried chicken and grilled chicken, help me decide before I starve to death."

His eyes widened, he tried running away but Lupin dragged him before he does. And at his priceless reaction, Lupin and Aries shared a laugh.

"You can let him go now, Remus, he won't go anywhere." Sirius said, stepping in.

Lupin nodded and turned back to Pettigrew, who was still struggling. "If you try and run away, you'll be playing chase with two wild dogs and a wolf." he whispered.

Pettigrew stopped moving. He slowly sat back on the grass, staring at Lupin wide eyed.

"Just so you'll know." Aries bent down until they were face to face. "I love chasing rats, and their taste? mmm." She gave him her best wolfish grin and stood up.

"That's enough creeping people, Aries." Lupin told her.

"Oh come on, everyone loves it when I'm scaring people." she complained.

"Aries, stop. We don't want that rat to run away again." Sirius scolded his daughter.

Aries rolled her eyes. "You're no fun." she muttered under her breath but didn't say anything else.

"Harry!" Hermione's voice rised to the air, quivering with fear.

They turned and saw the full moon appearing. A groan came from Lupin.

Sirius ran to him and grabbed him tightly so he can control himself. "Remus, old friend—! did you take your potion tonight?!"

Aries turned her head and spotted Pettigrew, holding Lupin's wand. "No wait!" she took one step forward and it was too late, he transformed himself into a rat.

He was their target, they broke out of Azkaban because of him, and now he's escaping again? she won't let that happen. She will kill the rat no matter what.

She started running towards the fleeing rat. It looked like it got scared, it ran faster. Her breathing quickened with every leap and every turn.

Her legs were useless, she knew he was going to escape, so she transformed into a dog, it was the only thing she could think of.

And just when she thought she caught him, she jumped in a high hill and started rolling down.

Finally she stopped rolling and opened her eyes, she looked around trying to figure what happened.

Her eyes shifted to her hands, and she saw blood, lots of it. She couldn't help it but howl in pain, she didn't even know where it came from yet it hurt so much.

She felt as if something was stabbing inside her. Her heart beat frantically as blood dripped from her ears and she whimpered softly. It hurts, it really hurts. The pain was getting worse, she could feel herself slipping and falling. She tried to stand up, but her muscles wouldn't listen to her.

"Father..." she called weakly.

She stayed like this for a while, eyes closed but heavily breathing to stay alive, 30 minutes passed and they found her.
