"Aries... Please, wear your damn heels without asking more questions!" Hermione begged, throwing Aries' dress on her bed.

"No! I will not wear the dress until you tell me what you overheard!" Aries demanded.

"Eavesdropping is bad, how many times must I tell—"

"You're the one who was eavesdropping on this conversation, Herms, not me! Now tell me what you heard, it's not fair that only Harry gets to hear this!"

Hermione sighed and stayed silent. Aries knew she was finally going to tell her, so she sat cross legged across from Hermione.

Hermione hesitated before telling Aries, who was patiently waiting for Hermione's explanation.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Hermione started talking. "I'm pretty sure I heard someone say that Malfoy was planning to ask a Gryffindor to the Yule Ball before he asking Pansy and some were saying it's... you."

Aries looked at Hermione with wide eyes. She never expected such news to be coming.

"It's just a rumor, and it's definitely not true. Malfoy is pure evil, he wouldn't try to date anyone from any house other than Slytherin, especially not a Gryffindor." Hermione told her. "Right?"

Aries quickly looked left and right to avoid eye contact.

"Right, Aries?" Hermione repeated, raising her voice slightly.

Aries gave her an awkward smile then stood up. "I better wear my heels now."

Hermione watched in shock as Aries walked over and grabbed her. "Aries... is it true?"

"Don't worry, Herms... Malfoy would never do such a thing." Aries answered. "I'm sure he'd never even consider a relationship, let alone dating someone who keeps torturing him and bullying him. Don't believe in rumors."

Hermione frowned, but decided to go along with it. "Yeah," she sighed. "You're right, it's just a rumor..."

Aries finished dressing up and turned to face Hermione. "Well? how do I look?"

Hermione smiled and reached forward to adjust a loose strand of hair around Aries' shoulder. "Beautiful."

Aries couldn't help but smile back at the compliment. "Not as beautiful as you of course. Now come on, our dates are downstairs waiting for us." she took Hermione's hand and pulled her outside the dorm.

"Slowly, slowly. You can't run downstairs when wearing heels, Aries, well... unless you want to break your ankles. Or your neck." Hermione told Aries as she helped her walk carefully down the stairs.

"Oh please, if I fall, I'll be taking you down with me as well. Anyway, who is your date? you never told me his name." Aries asked curiously.

Hermione took a deep breath and smiled. "Here he is." she whispered.

Aries raised her eyebrows and turned her head to Hermione. "Him? Viktor Krum? Well that was quite expected."

Hermione did not answer her, she went to Krum as he greeted her by kissing her hand.

Aries quickly spotted Ron and Harry so she rushed to their side. "You look great, Harry! and Ron... um, Ron deary, what are you wearing?" she frowned.

"Oh come on! just because you're the one looking beautiful doesn't give you the right to make fun of my dress robes!" it seemed that everyone who saw him commented on his clothes.

"Did you just call me beautiful, Ron?" Aries grinned.

"Yes— no!"

She smirked and then playfully elbowed Harry. "Did you hear that, Harry? Ronny called me–"
