That day, when the Death Eaters came to Hogwarts, killed Dumbledore, took Aries, was a nightmare. Of course Aries fought back at first, and Harry came to free her, but both failed miserably.

Now it's been almost a month since that day.

Snape kept Aries under his care in a random place, she haven't spoken at all for a whole month, out of shock. The days of joking are all gone, now it's the real world she shall face.

Right now, Snape is taking Aries to the Malfoy Manor, where there is a meeting between Death Eaters and Voldemort.

Aries have thought about this alone, and she thought she could be useful by hearing the Death Eaters plans and warn Hogwarts and Harry. But she wasn't sure that she will live to see her friends.

"You're slowing us down, it's enough that we're already late!" said Snape, pulling Aries harshly forward. "Don't make it more difficult." he added.

She glared at the back of his head, "It won't be any worse than what you did in Hogwarts."

He stopped walking and tied a rope around her neck in case she escapes, and now pointing his wand at her, but she still resisted, god knows how much she will mock and diss Voldemort when they get there. This is why he feared, her loud mouth being the reason why she gets killed.

A handsome manor house grew out of the darkness at the end of the straight drive, lights glinting in the diamond paned downstairs windows. Somewhere in the dark garden beyond the hedge, a fountain was playing.

Gravel cracked beneath their feet as Snape and Aries sped towards the front door, which swung inwards at their approach though nobody have visibly opened it.

The two halted at a heavy wooden door leading into the next room, hesitated for the space of a heartbeat, then Snape turned the bronze handle.

The room was filled with silent people, sitting at a long ornate table, and there, sitting clearly where everybody can see him, is Voldemort.

"Snape." said a high clear voice from the head of the table. "You are very late, come sit."

Snape leaned to Aries and whispered. "Take off your robe and give it to Wormtail, and do not do anything reckless." He went to take a seat.

She rolled her eyes and started taking off her robe, went to Wormtail over there and shoved the robe harshly to his chest. "Bastard." she hissed at him, he didn't respond, only showed fear.

"Aries Black, is it."

She froze at her place, now all eyes are on her.

"Sit here, between Dolohov and Snape." Voldemort said, pointing at the empty seat between them.

She went there, calmly sat down and sighed, her eyes were down, she didn't want to make any eye contact to anyone.

"You look so much like Regulus, that boy, I don't know what happened to him, but he was loyal to me." said Voldemort. "But he never liked Muggles, I wonder how he accepted having a Half-blooded niece."

"I wonder how everyone in this table accepted to follow a Half-blooded snake," Aries snapped, looking at him in the eyes.

This got in Voldemort's nerves, but he contained himself, but everyone could see how furious he was.

"I apologize on her behalf, my lord," said Snape. "She is young and confused, and most importantly, very stupid."

"I am a merciful man, Aries. I hope you put your faith in me when you see that." said Voldemort, giving Aries the most eerie smile she have seen.
