Living a New Life with Sam Pottorff

Chapter 6

POV: Sam

I wake up at 10:16. I see Zoe still cuddled right next to me. I grab my phone and scroll through Instagram and Twitter.

I stock what Zoe has tweeted/retweeted recently. Her last tweet read "I wish everyday was a fairytale, like today!" She tweeted this at 10:16 last night. We were watching TFIOS I think. Was she talking about us? Well what else did she do yesterday. She worked with cute little kids, then she hung out with me, then we kissed, and she became my girlfriend. Yes she was talking about us.

As soon as I'm done with scrolling through social media, Zoe wakes up.
"Good Morning beautiful," I say.
"Morning Mr. Pottorff," Zoe says.
"Do you want to go downstairs and get some brunch?" I ask Zoe.
"Brunch?" Zoe asks.
"Yes, since it's 10:45. We have woken up between breakfast and lunch. Therefore brunch!" I explain.
"Gosh Pottorff, you and your crazy ideas," she says.

We both laugh and stand up. Zoe is in a big tee-shirt and black spandex shorts underneath. She put her hair up as soon as she got up, so it was in a high bun. She looked adorable. She can really pull off the look because she is 5'2.

"Pottorff! Are you coming downstairs?" She whispers in my ear.
She then decided to walk in front of me. We walked into the kitchen. Levi and my mom weren't in the kitchen, or the living room. Zoe looked through the fridge and found food. She apparently knows how to make everything. She grabbed a bunch of fruit and eggs and toast.
"Scrambled eggs on toast with a side of a fruit bowl?" Zoe asks.
"Sounds yummy! How soon can you make it?" I ask.
"I can make it within 15 minutes!" Zoe says.

Zoe starts making the eggs and finishes in 10 minutes. I was impressed with how good everything tasted. We both sat down and ate our eggs on toast with our fruit bowls. We sat in silence on our phones. We watched vines and YouTube videos and other random things.

After we finished our brunch, we both went back to my room. I have a bathroom in my bedroom, so it's much easier to shower without Levi or my mom interrupting. Zoe wanted to take a shower, so I let her take one. I didn't need a shower because I had one yesterday. My mom taught me that I can take a shower every other day and deodorant everyday.

When Zoe comes out from the bathroom, she is wearing black high-waisted shorts, a cute crop top. She had her make-up done amazingly and she looked gorgeous! I was wearing shorts, and a dotted button down shirt. I think we make a great couple. We are both nice and we look good and were attractive. We also like each other. If that doesn't seem like a great couple, I don't know who you are!

"Well I guess I should be going home now," Zoe says.
"Can I text you today?" I ask.
"Of course! I mean why wouldn't we text? Were dating," Zoe says.
"Hahaha, of course!" I say.
"Can I walk you home?" I ask.
"Yes Mr. Pottorff, you can walk me home," Zoe says.

Zoe grabs everything that she brought over and she put it in her bag. She put it on her back and took my hand. We walked down the stairs and got to the front door. We let go of each other's hands to put on our shoes. She had her blue vans and I had my blue vans. We walked out the door and I quickly texted my mom.

Sam😍: MOM! I'm taking Zoe back to her place. I'll be back in maybe 10 minutes or so
Mom🌈: OKAY SAM HAVE FUN WERE IN LEVIS ROOM

I saw my mom's text and then I grabbed Zoe's hand. We walked back to her place like this.
"How was last night?" Zoe asked.
"It was grand. I had a fun time with you, I had a fun time with my girlfriend," I said.
"Ummm, who is this 'girlfriend' that you are talking about?" She says in her sassy tone.
"You," I say. We both laugh.
"Well here is my house. It's not much but it's home. My mom and I live in it, it's just us but we do what we can," Zoe says. I look at her house and it's big and beautiful! It's like a size of a mansion! Well her mom must have a great job and have a lot of money, or they are just rich.
"Well goodbye my love. Have a good day!" I say to Zoe. Zoe unlocks her hand from mine. She takes her hand and she puts it on my neck. Then we share a moment just before the kiss.
She whispers "your the best." Then our lips pressed up against each other. She tugs on my hair slightly and I hold her lower back. After 45 seconds of kissing, we stop.
"Goodbye," we say to each other. She does a slight jog and opens the door to her house.

I then walk back to my house. I open the door and I see my mom straddling a man on the couch. I run up to Levi's room and he has a note on his bed.

"Dear Sam,
Your probably wondering where I am. Well this is mom writing. Mom sent me to my girlfriends house. You could do the same. She has this man coming over and she wants to impress him. There is the same note in your bedroom. You have two choices now. You can either leave via your window, or stay in your room. Don't go through the front door, the man will see you and it will be bad. Mom wants to get a new daddy in her life. Love you, Levi and Mom"
