Sophie's POV
"I've noticed you and Loki have been spending a lot of time together. You don't ... like each other, do you?"
"No. Of course not. We're just friends."
"Good, because I don't trust him, and I wouldn't want you getting hurt."
"I'm not a child, dad. I can look after myself just fine."
"Still, I don't approve of him."
"Why can't you just give him a second chance?"
"Thor gave him a second chance and was fooled. I don't want to take that risk ... not after all he's done or that I've heard he's done."
I sigh.
Why can't you see what I see?
Loki's POV
"Why can I not court you?"
"I'm sorry, but I don't want to do anything without my father's approval. I trust his judgement. He's alright with us being friends, just ... nothing more ... he doesn't want me to get hurt."
I sigh in frustration.
"Why can no one see that I've changed?!" I hiss to myself.
She smiles at me sadly.
Tony's POV
I hope Sophie isn't upset by my disapproval of Loki. I just want to protect her. She seems to like Peter. I wouldn't mind if she started going out with him.
Sophie's POV
My father's trying to keep me away from Loki. I'm a bit sad about it because we've become good friends. I like talking to him.
I think my father's trying to set me up with Peter. It's probably because I was fangirling over him before. The thing is, I'm over him now. It was just a crush and the crush didn't last.
