I simply nodded and went to the auditorium, Asher behind me.

"Y/n, Vani, you two go to the bathroom and fix yourself up!We need to be onstage in 5 minutes." Ma'am shouted while fixing the maracus.
"Yes ma'am!" Me and Vani answered and we ran out of the room.
"I swear, this celebrity better be Beyoncé's kid or I'm gonna slap them!" I cursed while Vani laughed.
We reached the washroom. "Vani, how should I do my hair?" I asked her hurriedly. "Wait. Wash your face I'll do your hair." She shouted.
'Should have come here early" I mentally chided myself.

She smiled and we ran back to the room. It was empty!
"Shit! We're late!" I cursed.
"Race you to the auditorium!" Vani said, running off.
"Oh I'll win." I said and ran. I was involved in sports plus I run 2x in the basement lol 😂.
I ended up wining. We went backstage.
"You're in time." Sir said and we sat down.
"Y/n, I need you here!" Ma'am called out .
I sighed, looked at Vani and went outside.
"Yes ma'am?" I asked
"Asher, what are you doing here?" I asked him.
Asher opened his mouth but ma'am cut him off.
"Our anchors will not be able to host so we need you and Asher."
"Ma'am! You know I have to sing and go for my skating practice as well" I argued.
"Yes dear, but it is important. Can you do it?" She asked.
I looked at Asher and he smiled. I smiled back and agreed to host.
"You can wear Olivia's dress, it will fit you. And Asher can wear Jason's tux." Ma'am said.
"Anne will help you with makeup, and your hair is fine." She continued
Me and Asher walked bak to the basement.
"I can't believe they cancelled!" I shouted since there was no one in the basement.
Asher laughed. "I see you're a busy person. When can I get an appointment?"
"Oh look who's speaking!" I laughed.
We reached the room and separated to get ready.
"See you in 5" Asher said And I nodded
'Talk about being busy.' I mentally said as I greeted Anne
