We reached the room and separated to get ready.

"See you in 5" Asher said And I nodded

'Talk about being busy.' I mentally said as I greeted Anne

"I think this is the first time I've see You when your hair is not in a bun or tied up." Asher commented as we walked towards the auditorium.

"Shut up!" I sneered and then laughed.

I was used to walking in vans and sneakers 👟 heels 👠 were not really my thing. So being the lazy person I am, I stumbled but Asher caught me.

"What happened!?" He asked

"Not used to walking in heels" I murmured

Asher burst out laughing and I became flustered.

"Asher, y/n! Come on stage!" Sir called out.

'Saved by the bell' I thought.

"... our hosts will now take over!" The teacher announced .

There was a huge round of applause.

I wasn't scared because I actually liked public speaking and hosting shows .

Me and Asher walked on stage and stood behind the podium.

"A very Good morning to everyone present here!" I read from the paper from the podium.

"We thank you all for attending this special assembly even though it was very sudden..." Asher joked and the crowd laughed

"Today, I y/n y/l/n"

"And I, Asher Angel, "

"Will be your host through this wonderful assembly"

"First, let's call upon Lilly James, to present a wonderful thought for this day." I said and walked off stage with Asher as Lilly walked on stage.

"Y/n! Go and change in your uniform! Vani! Help her, Asher will announce the welcome song and then you can join afterwards." Ma'am hushed.

I ran back to the changing room with Vani .

"Hurry! Here is your shirt! And your skirt is inside, I have your i card and tie." Vani said

"Yeah thanks!" I said, changing
