PRESENT DAY - MYSTIC FALLS, VA

DAMON SALVATORE looked at Silas, his face plastered in mere confusion. "So let me get this straight, you met this, Rozalia girl, and she just disappeared?"

The immortal witch fixed his gaze on the fireplace, taking a sip from the glass in his other hand. "Yes, as I literally just explained it to you..." Silas added, forcing a cheerful tone along with a forged smile.

"So then, what exactly are we looking for here?" Damon asked, his arms crossed as he stood at the base of the staircase.

"Well, a prismarine stone and a pink rose. Now of course we can find a rose anywhere, but the stone, not so easily... Though once I can get my hands on it, I can do a locator spell."

"Hold up, what the hell is a prismarine stone and why do we need it so badly?" Damon furrowed a brow. Silas wasn't giving him all the answers he wanted and it irritated him.

"Damn you ask too many questions..." The witch scoffed in amusement, a small grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. "It's just a light blue and grey stone that I remember she always wore around her neck. Do I know the significance? No, so don't ask."

Silas rolled his eyes and began to more thoroughly explain. All he wanted was for his lover to come back, and this entire scenario was proving to be a pointless waste of time. "What I do know, though, is that it's somewhere in this house. You're just going to have to help me find it."

The witch and the vampire scavenged throughout the boarding house, very careful as to leave no place unchecked.

While Silas rummaged through cabinets, drawers, and bookshelves in the boarding house's lower half, Damon searched the upper half.

After a very tedious few hours or so, Silas heard a voice coming from upstairs.

"Hey lover boy," Damon teased. "I've got your rock."

Sure enough, the stone was tucked away alongside the many journals kept by Stefan Salvatore.
