Not many people realize just how powerful Kaminari Denki can be.

So when Dadzawa announced they would test how long they could last with their quirks, Kaminari winced and raised his hand.

"Yes, Kaminari?"

"Will we be doing this outside?"

"Of course, as per usual."

It was storming outside but Aizawa always insisted heroes had to be prepared to fight under any circumstances.

The bell rang for lunch and Aizawa added, "Once you get back, put your uniforms on and head straight to the practice field." Before folding himself back into his sleeping bag.

So, Kami caught up with the Bakusquad. They'd laugh and talk about nothing in particular.

"Hey, bros! We should have a sleep over tomorrow!"

"But Kiri, tomorrow is Thursday." Mina pointed out.

"Your point is?" Kami asked, smirking. Then he pointed his finger up in the air and mocked Aizawa, "Heroes have to be able to fight under any circumstances. This includes pulling all nighters." He copied in a slow, tired voice.

The table full of bros fell over laughing.

Before Kami knew it, lunch was over and the fresh hell of not knowing how his powers would react began.

It started before they even left the building. As Kami was changing, Kiri leaned against his locker, next to Kami, "Hey, I wanted to ask you— Ah!"

Kami was throwing on his shirt and unknowingly shocked Kirishima in the process with a bit of electricity.

He popped his head out from his shirt and gave a quizzical look, tilting his head slightly. Then a look of realization crossed his face, "What? Oh shit! Did I zap you? I didn't mean to! I'm so sorry, bro!"

Kiri just stood there, surprised, "You.... you didn't know you shocked me? I thought that took a lot of concentration for you?"

Kami sighed and looked around quickly, checking for anyone. They were the last to change.

Denki grabbed his shoulder but quickly let go when he felt a shock go through him. "Okay, I'm gonna be honest with you, dude. When it starts storming.... I don't have as much control as I usually do. The reason it takes me so much concentration, is because I have to focus on not doing so much damage that I kill someone. But when it's storming? Tch. That's a whole different situation."

Shark boy was astonished. "So, you have no idea what's going to happen when we train today?"

"Nope." Kami answered, popping the 'p' and waking towards the exit. "I'm not super worried. But hey, please don't tell anyone, okay? I don't want anyone thinking I'm less manly because I don't have control."

In reality, Denki was scared shitless.

"If anything, you're more manly than before for controlling it up to this point." Kiri smiled, looking at the exit that leads to outside.

Kami had small electric shocks running through his hands. His eyes sparked.

He took a deep breath, then walked outside. He instantly felt a rush of ecstasy, breathing in the humid air.

"After we test how long your quirks last, we will be sparing. You know the drill. And I'll be sure not to pair Bakugou with Deku this time."

Everyone was tested for endurance in their own way that matched their quirk. Most of them just fought a dummy until they couldn't anymore.
