(y/n) POV (Day before)
After having lost Hiccup the day before instead of going back to the hut and helping Gobber I decided I'd head to the house Hiccup, Chief, and I shared. Before I made it home I heard a bunch of yelling and crashing coming from the village so I ran down to go check it out.
As I sprinted toward the chaos and all I could see was people scrambling and someone getting chased by a Monstrous Nightmare and destroying everything that was in their way. "Please don't be Hiccup, please don't be Hiccup." I pleaded to myself as I forced myself to run faster so I could help (and maybe get a higher ranking?) "This is not the time", I scolded myself "My bestfriend is probably endanger of getting eaten by a dragon!"
I was maybe 20 yards or so away from reaching Hic, before chief got to him and...well saved Hic's life for the 4th time this week? Instead if advancing towards them I took a few steps back, an angry Stoick wasn't exactly what I call a day in paradise, Hiccup would have to take this one on his own.
Hiccup's POV
So this is what I get for catching a dragon? A angry village and a disappointed father?! Well that's just great. The only upside to this is I might actually have caught the Night Fury!!! But then again I couldn't have and if I did I'm almost more than certain it will eat me. Great decisions I have made today just great. I would've been happier if they just let that Monstrous Nightmare eat me.
My dad ordered Gobber to take me home while he gathers the villagers and cleans up the mess I've made. No doubt that I'm gonna be even more hated around Berk, I swear to Thor if I didn't catch that damned dragon I will go mad!
Gobber and I had soon reached the house my father and I shared with (y/n); (y/n) she's come such a long way and everyone seems to like her, she's such a strong individual I can't even begin to imagine what she's been through! I'm so confused about the relationship I have with her, is she my sister, my bestfriend, just another villager...my crush? I-I just don't know
