Hiccup's POV

I came back from that little dragon incident last night and decided to go straight to bed.

As I lay in the dimly lit room I decided to come up with a plan. Tomorrow, tomorrow morning, that's when I'd go out to look for that damned monster of a dragon. I'd have to get up pretty early and sneak around quite a bit. "That's gonna be fun", I sarcastically thought to myself "I'm such a klutz I'm almost positive this is gonna be a disaster!" I huffed as I fumbled around in my bed shuffling through the many thoughts swirling around in my head. "Argh, whatever we'll just wing it and pray to Thor we won't get eaten. Okay? okay (haha that wasnt even on purpose and not my quote its from "The Fault In Our Stars" By John Green)

**Next Day**

Hiccup's POV

Rays of sunlight shone into my room just enough that it allowed me to see a few feet in front of me. I woke up at around 5am, ready to start the treacherous journey I would be taking through the woods to find that stupid black dragon, I slowly got up and out of bed hoping that for once the floor boards wouldn't squeak beneath my shifting weight.

Surprisingly not a single creak was emitted when my feet made contact with the cold wooden boards. I quickly put my clothes on, grabbed my pencil and notebook, and rushed down the stairs of the empty house. I made it down the stairs without a sound, slowly creeping my way towards the kitchen, but what I saw nearly made me squeal like a 4 year old girl and definitely scared me out of my wits.

(y/n) POV

"Ah!" I heard Hiccup squeak before he quickly covered his mouth preventing himself from making anymore noise "Mornin' Hic" I casually said, "nice day isn't it?" I heard him release a low growl from his throat (most likely caused by my childish acts) before he whisper yelled "(y/n) really?! Are you TRYING to get us killed? What do you want I gotta go....go somewhere, yeah somewhere." "Hiccup you do realize I'm not retarded right? And you being terrible at making up excuses isn't helping in your case."I replied as I raised my eyebrows and slightly scrunched my face up "Why are you even up so early?" Hiccup said completely deflecting my question "Aren't you usually still asleep? I know you would sleep forever if you could." "Pfft and you couldn't? Whatever your doing I want in!" I told the stubborn Viking boy before I trotted up the stairs and vanished into my room putting on more suitable clothes for an adventure.
