We were only half way into our set when I saw her and nearly collapsed.

Maggie was here.

Of course she had to be, I fucking knew it.

She would probably see me and try to avoid me, or maybe she'd see the band and see me and then "recognize" the name or my face.

We finished Wherever You Are so I turned round to the guys quickly. "She's here. We're singing Kiss Me Kiss Me at the end." I told them, ot giving them anytime to argue or protest before I introduced our next song.

Maggie's p.o.v.

He looked so good.

So, so good.

But different at the same time, and I wasn't sure why. He was wearing black skinny jeans and a grey black and white flannel.

Nervousness and panic hit me like that bus hit Regina George from mean girls and it definitely had an impact.

"Get me a drink. Now." I told Darren, who immediately ran off to the bar to hopefully do so.

They began their next song, which I recognized as Wherever You Are since Laura listened to them a lot too, so I had picked up on little things like that. Eventually I'd even began to remember lyrics so I sang along to what I knew.

Darren came back with a drink of some sort of alcohol that I finished in less than a minute, discarding the cup to a shelf on the wall where lot of other cups had been placed.

"Are you okay? Darren asked, rubbing my back soothingly. Like Cam, he was on a need to know basis of what had happened between Luke and I.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Can we sit down?" I asked him and the other people we were with who all nodded yes. After finding a table big enough for the 6 of us I got back up again to get a drink from the bar, this time on my own.

"This last song that we're going to sing," Luke began. His voice shocked me as I hadn't heard him introduce a song since I first walked in. "Was written about a girl I met round about a month ago," he paused to grab his cup. "and fell in love with over night."

From the other side of the club I heard Laura and maybe a few other girls in the crowd, probably fans, gasp.

Although I didn't gasp, I felt like I physically couldn't move.

I wanted to though. And I wanted to run up on the the stage and fucking slap him and ask him how he ad the cheek to claim that he was in love with me if he couldn't leave a stupid number.

"Here's to teenage memories!" The song began.

Of all the things he could write in his stupid fucking song it had to be one of our stupid fucking memories. Everything was so clear, it was no where near a struggle to picture the exact moment and way he had said that and the way he had bit his lip and looked up at me through his eye lashes.

Can I call, wake you up on a Sunday?
Late night I think we need to get away
Headlights, hold tight, turn the radio loud (Turn the radio loud)
Let me know where to go and I'll get you there
Tell the truth and I'll show you how to dare
Flash lights held tight we can own this town
Never say goodbye

So kiss me kiss me kiss me
And tell me that I'll see you again
'Cause I don't know if I can let you go

So kiss me kiss me kiss me
I'm dying just to see you again
Let's make tonight the best of our lives (yeah)

Here's to teenage memories
Here's to teenage memories

Close your eyes you'll be mine and it's alright
Take a breath no rest til the sunrise
Heartbeat so sweet when your lips touch mine
We don't have to go home right now
But we're never gonna stop cause we're dreaming out loud
We know what we want, we know we're gonna get it somehow
Never say goodbye

So kiss me kiss me kiss me
And tell me that I'll see you again
'Cause I don't know if I can let you go
So kiss me kiss me kiss me
I'm dying just to see you again
Let's make tonight the best of our lives (yeah)

Here's to teenage memories

And tell me that I'll see you again
'Cause I don't know if I can let you go
So kiss me kiss me kiss me

The song finished, and after having time to think about everything during it; I spoke up.

"If you were so in love with me then why didn't you leave a number?" I shouted, gaining attention from everyone in the club, including Luke.

"I did leave a number." He grinned. Why was he grinning? He ran off stage and right up to me, nearly knocking me over as he approached me. "I did leave a number." He whispered this time, seeming relieved somehow.

"I practically search my whole apartment! You didn't leave a fucking number!" I yelled, getting so frustrated with the grin on his face.

"Check the notes in your phone." He giggled. That fucking giggle.

I did as he told me to and then saw the note.

"Had to leave for work quickly,

my number is 07923245819,

hope you call

Luke x"

"You did leave a number." I said, almost inaudibly but the club was so quiet that anyone would've heard it. I smiled, feeling all the stress and anger and hate for this boy leave my body.

"I thought I'd locked your phone so that when you unlocked it it would just come up on your screen." He slapped his forehead with his hand, laughing at what an idiot he was.

"I thought that you really did go and pick up random chicks and I was just another one of them." I smirked, remembering our conversation about Gemma being his sister.

"Dear God Maggie, I don't do that! I promise!" He laughed, tipping his head back.

Everyone else was still watching us but I didn't really mind.

"I know," I giggled, placing my hands on his chest, feeling a sudden urge to just touch him again. "can I tell you something?"

"Of course you can," he wrapped his arms around my waist and brought his face down until my nose was brushing against his.

"I fell in love with you too."
