"Maggie? You home?" Laura called, just back from her date with Cameron. Some thought it was weird but I thought it was cute; but they always reserved Wednesday nights to spend with each other and go on a date somewhere. Cameron came and hung out in our room a lot anyway, but Wednesday night was date night.

"Yeah, I'm just in the bathroom." I told her.

In the past 3 weeks that I'd been here I'd been happier than ever. Laura and I had become so close, and she had introduced me to Cam and most of her other friends who I had bonded with quickly. It made her extremely jealous and a little bit angry at him, but I told Laura about the night Luke and I had shared. She defended him, like a true fan and told me that there was probably a good explanation for it but she looked just as sure as I did.

School was incredible, I still had to do my basic subjects but oh god, their program and the British education system itself was so much better than back in Australia. Every week, I spent Monday's doing acting and Tuesday's doing singing and dancing then the rest of the week focused on practical subjects.

Lacey and I were still FaceTiming everyday at the regular time and hadn'tdrifted at all which I was grateful for. She only really had Jack and Jack, our other two best friends, back home so she would be pretty girl deprived.

When we were in high school the 4 of us were just this little group. Everyone used to think that I was dating Jack Gilinsky and Lacey was dating Jack Johnson but it wasn't true. Gilinsky was like a brother figure to me when Derek went to jail, and once everyone found out about my family I lost a lot of friends but those 3 stayed, loyally.

"Hey, how was your date?" I asked her, walking out of the bathroom and wiping my hands on my sweatpants to dry them.

"It was good, we went to the movies to see this horror film but I just cuddled into him the whole time." She giggled, throwing herself onto her bed.

"He took you to a horror? That was totally an excuse to cuddle, even I know you can't watch horror movies." I rolled my eyes. Cam was a romantic like that, it was cute and silly the way he would plan ahead all their dates, knowing the way she would react and the things that she would do.

"Exactly," she laughed. "he's such a aubergine."

Laura went to change into her sweats, leaving me to my own thoughts which all still consisted of Luke Hemmings. It had been just over six weeks since our one and only night together and I was worried about myself. Surely after this long I would be able to forget about him. It was just one night, who even cares?

I do. But Luke didn't.

He was probably away on another tour somewhere, maybe in America. I wondered if maybe he'd thought about me since. Maybe he'd been eating a hot dog and thought of me, or watched Divergent with a completely different girl and then thought back to our night.

Every time I looked at the sky and the stars were out, I thought about how we'd sat on the rooftop and looked at the stars. It was so sappy, but I didn't care and quite frankly, I couldn't help it.

Just then Laura came back through, smiling at something on her phone; probably a text from Cameron. It was nearly time to facetime Lacey,  so I grabbed my phone that had been on charge and sent her a quick message to make sure she was still available.

She had been keeping me up to date on everything that had been happening back home and by the way she talked about him she definitely had a crush on the guy that moved into my old apartment.

I had thought about renting it out while I was over here but after Lacey told me I could just stay at her place while I was back home I didn't really see the point.

The guys name was Andy, she had told me, and according to her he had the "brightest blue eyes she'd ever seen" or some cheesy shit like that.

Lacey messaged me back and told me she would facetime me now so I waited for her to call.

Once her face was up on the screen we got straight into gossiping about everyone back home just like normal times. Whenever I was on facetime to Lacey she always said hey to Laura, who would say it back and occasionally came to chat with us.  Actually, Laura told me that she was desperate to come with me the next time I went back home because she had always wanted to go to Australia and meet family that she had there.

Just as we were chatting, Laura began to scream at her phone. "OH MY FUCKING GOD, OH MY FUCKING GOD!" She repeated.

"LAURA! WHAT IS  IT?" I asked, not entirely sure whether she was actually happy or not.

"5 SECONDS OF SUMMER ARE IN THE UK!"
