In the school Ezra was sitting at the first Table third seat and then Luther came in and was setting down his stuff in the second row first seat and sat down then Preston came in and Ezra looked at him and then the first seat in the row and Preston pointed to the seat and he shrugged his shoulders and put his lunch down and sat in the seat and pulled his self into the table, river came walking in and hitting the door handles and making much noise as possible and then spun the bookmark holder and then picked up some note cards and put them into his flannel pocket and pushed his sunglasses up on to his hair and walked around he seen Luther and snapped at him to get up and so he did, he stood up.
river was looking at him and he hurried up and moved his things and moved to the second section second row first seat, river moved the chairs so he could sit on one and put his feet up he took off his sunglasses and put them on the table.
Vern walked in really fast and Ezra gave him a dirty look then Preston,river and Luther turned their heads and Vern went to the second section last row and last seat and everyone was still looking at him he put his arms around him self and threw down his notebook and took off his vans backpack and pulled out the chair and sat with his back against everyone.
Ezra looked in disgust and Preston looked at him and they both smirked and laughed and Luther just was in shock then walked in Mr.Wheaton with paper and looked at all of the kids "well we are all here I would just want to congratulate you for all being on time" Ezra raised his hand "sir, I think there's been a mistake I know this is detention but, um I don't think I belong in here" he made a puppy dog face and Mr.Wheaton chuckled and looked at his watch "it's now Seven o seven" Luther looked at his watch as well and Mr.Wheaton kept talking "you have exactly eight hours and fifty five minutes to think about why you're all here" Ezra looked at Preston and they both had the same face.
river was playing with a string from his long flannel "think about the error of your ways" while he was talking river spits in the air and catches it, Ezra looked he felt so disgusted "you may not talk at all" and he pointed to Ezra and he just looked up, Luther was trying to move seats when he heard "also you will not move from theses seats" Luther just sat down
Mr.Wheaton went over to river and pointed a finger to him "you will not sleep" he took the other chair that had his feet on it and river just had this smug look on his face, Mr.Wheaton looked at Luther "we're going to try something a little different today we are going to have you write essays" he started to walk to hand out the Paper and pencils and also counted talking "no less then thousand words" Vern looked at him with a blank look "you are going to describe to me who you think you are" river said "is this a test" Mr.Wheaton looked at him and said "when I say essay I mean essay" and kept handing out papers and pencils, river put his feet on the table and Mr.Wheaton looked at him "I do not mean a single word repeated a thousand times is that clear Mr.Parker?" He said "crystal" Mr.Wheaton said "good maybe you can learn something about yourself and maybe even decide wether you care or not to even return" Luther raised his hand and stood up from his seat "you know I can answer that now sir that'd be no for me because-" he was cut off when he head Mr.Wheaton say "sit down James" he looked down "thank you sir" and sat down, Mr.Wheaton continued to talk then he pointed "my office is right across the hall and any monkey business is ill-advised and any questions?" River looked around and Preston shook his head.
Mr.Wheaton was walking to leave when river said "yeah I got a question, does Barry Manilow know that you had raided his wardrobe?" Ezra and Preston were both laughing "I'll answer that question Parker next Saturday" he pointed his finger to river "don't mess with the bull you'll get the horns" he then turned is back, then river said "that man is an ass kisser" Luther looked at him and clicked his pen, Preston was getting hot and took off his varsity jacket and Ezra was playing with the end of his skirt and all you can hear is clicking they didn't know what it was until they looked and saw it was Vern he was bitting his nails Ezra made a look of disgust and Vern kept doing it and then he looked up at everyone and everyone was looking back at him and he kept bitting his nails "eat your hand and you won't be hungry for lunch" river said and Vern looked at him and spit out the nail "I've seen you before ya know" Mr.Wheaton put his head out and then went back to what ever he was doing, Luther kept playing with his pen and saying 'who I think I am' he put the part you put on books and stuff on to his lip 'who are you?' And kept saying 'who are you?' "I'm a walrus" he said and river looked at him with a blank face.
Luther kept playing with the pen in his mouth then he looked over and seen river was looking at him, river took off his scarf and kept looking at Luther, luther chuckled and took the pen off of his lip and he looks at river and smiles a little and nods his head, river takes down his foot and he starts to take off his long flannel when he sees Luther doing the same but with his coat and river looks at him with a what the fuck face and Luther just keeps his coat on river keeps looking at Luther "the shits huh?" Luther said to river and he just kept looking at him with a blank face and Luther just laughed and that showed off his braces and river just kept looking at him then he turned back to his seat then looked ahead his eyes landed on Ezra and Ezra was looking down at his pastel pink nails thinking they need another coat of nail polish.
