Vern said "I can write with my toes" everyone looked at him and he continued "I can also brush my teeth"
Ezra looked at him with a confused look "with your feet?"
Vern kept talking "also I can play the piano"
Luther said "I can cook"
Ezra looked at Preston "what can you do?"
Preston laughed "I can tape all of your asses together"
"I wanna see what Ezra can do?" River said
He shook his head "I can't do anything"
River shook his head "everybody can do anything"
Ezra laughed "I can do one thing" but he shook his head River kept on talking "ever seen wild kingdom it's been on for thirty years"
Ezra reached behind him "you have to promise you won't laugh" River nodded his head and did the sing of the cross
"I can't believe I'm doing this" and he got out his lipstick he pushed together his chest and he put his lipstick in between and he leaned down and then he put his head back up and had lipstick on the top of his lip and everyone was kinda shocked and River kept clapping "that was amazing Ezra the image of you is totally blown" Ezra was taking off the lipstick
Vern then said "you little shit don't do that to him you swore to god you would not laugh"
River looked at him "am I laughing?"
Preston said "you fucking prick"
River looked at him "why do you care what I think I mean I don't even count right? I could just disappear forever and it would make no difference I may not even exist at all remember?" River looked at Ezra and said "you don't even like me?" Ezra looked at him "I have feelings just like you and it hurts just as much when someone steps on them"
River said "you are so pathetic don't ever compare you to me you have everything and I have shit fucking queen I bet the school would close if you didn't show up because queenie isn't here like your ring I bet your Daddy bought it for you" Ezra looked at him with tears in his eyes "shut up!" River kept talking "you know what I got for Christmas I got a carton of cigarettes my dad grabbed me and said 'smoke up' go home and cry to your little daddy don't cry in here okay"
Ezra was crying and wiping away his tears and sniffling a little and everyone was just looking and then Preston talked "my god are we gonna be like out parents" Ezra shook his head with tears streaming down his face "no not me" River looked at him and he looked River "ever"
Vern said "it just happens" with tears running down his face and Ezra said "what happens?" Vern talked "when you start to grow up your heart dies" River rolled his eyes "who cares?" Vern looked at him "I care"
Luther then says "I was just thinking I know it's kinda a weird time but I was just um wondering what will happen with us on Monday when we are all together again I mean I consider you guys my friends am I wrong?" Preston looked at him "no"he said and Luther kept talking "so on Monday what happens?" Ezra looked at him "still friends is that what you mean? I mean if we are friends now" Luther nodded his head "yes" Ezra looked away "you want the truth?" Luther nodded his head "yes I want to truth"
Ezra still didn't look at anyone "I don't think so at all"
Vern talked "with all of us or just River?" Ezra looked at Vern "all of you"
Preston looked at him "real nice attitude Ezra"
Ezra said "I'm just being honest Preston if Luther came up to you on Monday what in the hell would you do? Look at this your with all of the sports I know what exactly you would do you would said hi and when he left you would make fun of him in front of your friends so they wouldn't think you liked him" Preston looked at Luther and shook his head "no way" Vern then talked "what if I came up to you?" Ezra talked "the same exact damn thing"
River yelled at him "you are just a bitch!"
Ezra looked at him "why just because I am telling the damn truth so that makes me the bitch?"
River sat up even more "no you know how fucking shitty that is to do to someone and you don't have the balls to even stand up to your Friends and tell them who you like and who you don't like"
Ezra looked at him with his voice kind of cracking "what about you! Why don't you take Vern to a heavy metal concert or take Luther or Preston to the parking lot to go get high or even me what would your friends do or say if they saw us walking down the hall together they would laugh and you would say you were doing it with me so they could forgive you for sleeping with me"
River pointed his finger at him "don't you ever talk about my friends you don't know shit about them and don't look at them and you wouldn't even speak to them so just stick to what you know and your drunk mother in the Caribbean"
Ezra looked at him "shut up!"
"And as being concerned about us walking down the hallways together because you can forget it won't happen it never! just take your head and burry it in sand and wait for prom"
Ezra shook his head at him "I hate you!"
River looked at him "yeah well good!" Ezra was crying
Luther talked "I assume me and Vern are no better then You guys are right would you be my friend?" Vern looked at him " I don't have any friends" Luther looked and he was crying "if you did?" Vern shook his head "no I don't think my friends would mind"
Luther kept crying "I just want to tell you guys that i wouldn't and I will not because I know that's real shitty"
Ezra looked at him with tears down his face "your friends wouldn't mind they look up to us" Luther faked laughed "you are so conceited Ezra you are so conceited!" Luther wiped his tears and kept talking "you sound so full of your damn self why? Are you even like that?" Ezra said "I'm not saying that to be conceited I hate it I have everything my friends do and or say" Luther then looked at him "why do you even do it?" Ezra shook his head and more tears were coming down his face "I don't know I really don't I just you don't understand you are not friends with the same kind of friends me and Preston are with you don't understand that pressure that they can put on you"
Luther pointed to him self "oh I don't understand you think I don't understand well fuck you! Fuck you!" Luther wiped his tears away but he kept on crying harder "do you know why I am even here today! Do you! I am here because Mr.Vex found a gun in my locker"
No one said anything but Preston did "why did you have a gun?"
Luther said "I tired you pull the fucking string and the light is supposed to go on it didn't turn on I mean"
Preston said "what was that gun for"
Luther sat up and shook his head " just forget it"
Preston shook his head "you brought this up man"
Luther shook his head "I can't have an F I can not have it and my parents they can't have it if I ace the rest of this semester I still only have a B and everything is ruined for me"
Ezra looked at him "Luther"
Luther hit the chair and everyone jumped and just looked at him and he kept on talking "my options i was thinking you know"
Ezra shook his head "killing your self is not the best or even an option"
Luther rolled his eyes "I didn't do it did I! I don't think so"
Vern looked at him "a handgun?" Luther sighed "no a flare gun it just went off in my locker"
Preston couldn't help but laugh "really"
Luther shook his head "not funny"
Preston cleared his throat but he couldn't help but laugh again but then so did Vern then River kinda laughed then Luther kinda laughed as well and nodded his head "yeah it is"
Vern talked "wanna know what I did to be here?"
Everyone looked at him and he said "nothing" with a huge smile "I didn't have anything better to do"
Everyone then just chuckled Vern said "you are all laughing at me"
Preston hit his thigh "no" Vern nodded his head "yeah you guys are" and everyone was laughing.
