I pace back and forth in the kitchen of our apartment, waiting for Jack to get home. My hands are shaking a little, but I keep them steady. A few minutes later, I hear the front door being unlocked and opened, then Jack's voice.

"Hey Y/N, I'm home! You wouldn't believe what we did in the studio today. Zach nearly deleted the tracks we recorded, but -" I interrupt him, not wanting to wait anymore.

"Who's Hayley?" I ask him. He freezes and stares at me. 

"W-what?" he stutters, and I cross my arms. 

"I saw the messages. Am I not good enough for you anymore?" I whisper, my lip beginning to tremble. Jack's face falls and he drops his things on the bench. 

"Y/N, it was a one time thing, I promise. It was a mistake, and she just kept texting me. I was really drunk, and it was a while ago." he tries to explain, but I shake my head angrily.

"I don't want to hear it Jack. You slept with someone else! And it was a while ago? You should have told me!" I say to him, my voice rising. He reaches out to me but I step back.

"Baby I'm sorry. I wanted to tell you but I didn't know how you'd react..." he says quietly. I throw my hands up and laugh bitterly.

"How did you think this would end well? This is ridiculous, I'm not doing this." I turn away and walk to our bedroom, grabbing my bag. 

"Wait Y/N, come on. Please, I'm sorry!" Jack grabs my hand, but I yank it out of his grip, turning back to him.

"No Jack! You fucked this up, so you can figure out how to fix it. But I think you'll find that you'll have a lot of trouble with it." I storm out of the apartment, slamming the door. I can hear Jack calling after me, but I ignore him, pressing the button to the elevator.

I reach the parking garage, and get into my car, starting to drive away. It's only then that the tears start, and they don't stop until I reach the Why Don't We house. I knock on the door, and it opens to a concerned Jonah.

"Y/N?"
