"Music, unleashed, can uplift and create and destroy, stripping away pretenses and leaving raw, exposed vulnerability behind."

-C.E. Murphy

"Monster" By: Meg & Dia

My first impression of the castle was one I couldn't remember, because as soon as Kaisa landed her pet, my stomach emptied of all its contents. Tears streamed down my face as I dry-heaved, barely able to catch my breath before she was hauling me up by the back of my sweatshirt and tossing me over her shoulder, again. Her quick and lethal steps swam before my eyes, bringing forth another wave of sickness. I shut my eyes tight and willed myself to not be sick all over the back of this beautiful creature, knowing that the sheathed blade currently digging into my left boob would eagerly end my existence if I did so. I wasn't sure how long we'd been walking when I passed out, the pain at my neck and loss of blood taking it's toll on my body. I was jolted awake when she dumped me off of her, kicking my thigh.

"Get up." She sneered, baring her fangs.

I did so with a groan, gingerly taking in my surroundings. The first thing I noticed was the room we were in. The floor was made of some sort of white polished marble or crystal, I wasn't sure, but it was so pristine that it hurt to look at, and I could even see my reflection in the surface. The walls were made of the same black stone as the rest of the castle, which would've made the room dark and depressing if it wasn't for the the huge windows on either side, letting in the sun. The ceiling arched insanely high above us, along with an enormous chandelier that glittered with a thousand different colors, flashing across the walls and ceiling. It was both beautiful and terrible, and I couldn't help but gawk at it all. At the far end of the room sat an empty but beautiful throne, carved out of some sort of rich wood. The back had a design carved into it but I was too far away to make it out.

"Beautiful." I murmured and my human mind was nearly unable to comprehend it all.

"Best to enjoy it while you still have your eyes, älskling." Kaisa purred beside me, an evil grin on her face as the strange word rolled off of her tongue.

Though her words sent a shock of fear through my body, I forced it back and stuck my tongue out at her, relishing the murderous gleam in her eyes. I winced in pain as she none-too-gently tugged me to her, my back pressed against her front and her breath hot against my ear. I shivered at her sudden nearness, feeling the blood drain from my face as she slowly spoke, her lips brushing my skin. Sparks flashed behind my eyes as her fingers gently trailed up my arm and across my chest, fitting delicately around my neck, squeezing just enough for me to know that I was at her mercy.

"Perhaps Queen Mara will give you to me as a gift."

I whimpered in fear at her low words and the feeling of her fangs scraping across my throat.

Her voice was whisper, thick with lust. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll learn to enjoy the pain."

Fire already across my skin as she boldly ran her tongue along my neck, and I flinched away in disgust. Her low laugh vibrated through me as she pulled away, releasing my still bound arm. I scrambled away, retreating to the other side of the room and warily watching her, my knees pulled up to my chest. The crazy bitch had pulled her sword and was leaning against her weird pet as she sharpened it. The high pitched sound made my teeth ache. The creature merely grumbled from where it lay, huge wings flared out on either side of it's reptilian body.
