Introducing
Abhay Deol as Aman Bhatia
The hydrogen oxide in front of me was still and warm.
Rays of sunlight reflected off the clear water of the pond, making it look like the still water was nothing but a sheet of diamonds, as it sparkled under the sunlight. The wind gently blew past my hair, occasionally stuffing a few locks into my mouth. The momentous sound of pebbles being flung into the water was a reminder to me that I wasn't alone.
"Bad day at work?" Harleen asked, pinning a lock of her golden-brown hair behind her ear as she picked up another pebble.
"Not really," I replied, hugging my knees with my arms.
Harleen nodded and took a deep breath.
"Hmm... There's a night shoot tomorrow. My call sheet is from five to five. Could you take care of my little marshmallow?"
"You don't have to ask, Di." I smiled at her, leaning on her shoulder.
Harleen smiled and flung the little pebble into the pond. The two of us watched as it created little concentric circles on the surface of the pond before disappearing into its depths. With that, Harleen got up and quickly dusted her hands before slipping into her flip flops.
"Aman told me that he'd pick me up at six today. I'd better get going." Harleen smiled and pulled on her scrunchie, letting her long hair loose.
Aman? Please don't let him be her new boyfriend.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, waiting for an explanation of sorts.
"Oh! How silly of me! Aman is an AD for the project we're currently working on-"
She paused, as though she were contemplating whether or not to tell me more.
"-and?"
"-and, he is kind of adorable." Harleen blushed.
