Running into my sister's ex at my boss' home is the last thing I had expected. Sid stood in front of me, a blank expression painted across his face. The corner of his mouth twitched, as it usually did whenever he was confused.

"Heyyy..." Sid stumbled towards me.

He seemed drunk. Very drunk.

"Do you know, there are a hundred centimetres in one metre." He grinned, slithering down on the black beanbag near me.

Correction: He was drunk.

"You bet, Godzilla." I snorted and rolled my eyes.

Sid looked at me with furrowed brows. He closed his eyes momentarily before looking at me again.

"Godzilla." He laughed, looking down. "A friend used to call me that."

Sure. I totally didn't know that.

"Yeah? What was her name?" I folded my arms, narrowing my eyes at him.

"Maya Deshmukh?" He asked, doubtfully.

"Meera Desai." I scoffed and turned to leave.

For a while, there was absolute silence. Absolute, awkward silence. In fact, I wondered if he had already dozed off on the beanbag. The theory seemed highly plausible. Yes, I'm sure of it. He must have dozed off already.

"Meera? Chinky?" He asked.

I stopped dead in my tracks. So, he did remember me after all. But honestly, that was nothing to be happy about. At least, not as of now.

"For the millionth time, do not call me Chinky!" I turned around to yell at him.

"Who is Chinky?" Arjun asked, entering the room from the huge, engraved oakwood doors. There was a mischievous smile on his face and he fidgeted with the strap of his watch.

"Nobody!" I blushed, tucking locks of my hair behind my ears as I stared at my feet.

Arjun pursed his lips while his eyes shuttled between me and Sid. I had known Arjun long enough to know that he was already formulating a thesis and making assumptions.

And unbeknownst to him, he gave me enough reason to believe that he was contemplating about the possibility of the two of us being a couple.

Sid walked up to me, standing right in front of me. He spun me around to face Arjun, and I pressed my lips together as I nervously looked up at him.

"Oye Battery! You should've seen her in her 'Chinky' phase." Sid said.

"Tell me about it. I have absolutely no commitments this morning." Arjun rolled his eyes and folded his arms.

As he folded his arms, his 'already-tight' shirt got even tighter, especially around the bicep area. I must admit, he looked really hot. I wonder if that was the reason he wore tight shirts- to have women fall head over heels for him.
