Imagine having a troubled life in Avonlea because you had to be taken out of your mother care who isn't fitted to be a mother after mrs Lynde finding your mother doing the unthinkable... drinking, and billy being by your side every step of the way through the hard process

You were indeed the most prettiest girl in avonlea as your classmates thought otherwise except for 5 being Billy Andrews, Anne Shirley Cuthbert, and Gilbert Blythe, Diana Barry, and Ruby Gillis. You have lived with your drunken mother for ever since birth, after years of your grandparents fighting a battle to have custody rights. But you didn't know that there was a nasty secret going around town about your mother

Mrs Rachel Lynde was out in town walking back home from the Cuthberts when she saw your mom drinking and smoking. This made the women gasps as she was worried about your health and living situation.

Without noticing Mrs Lynde has made a urgent town hall meeting not inviting your mother but your grandparents to it

"You all are probably wondering why you are here... well we need to settled on the living situation of y/n, clearly we need someone to take her in as the situation she's in is a total disgrace,"

After Mrs Lynde said that everyone in the room looked at your grandparents as they were ashamed of there daughter, your mother behavior.

"I suggest you two figure this custody thing out before she gets thrown into the orphanage," said Mrs Lynde as she was pointed at both of your grandparents

"We'll try," said your grandmother as your mother was a hard and stubborn women to go through

Meanwhile you were at school eating lunch when you heard the girls talk about you

"I heard her mom takes drugs and runs around with all those nasty guys no wonder y/n looks so ugly I bet she's even worse then her mother," said Josie as she looked at you and laughed, after you heard enough you stormed over

"Josie Pye you are rude and I will not stand for it!" You said Josie glared looking up and down at you as you were wearing a nice dress but it wasn't fitted for the girls now a days, your mom wasn't very rich so one dress was all she could afford

"Well you just don't want to admit it because your poor," said Josie as she giggled the girls all gasps as they thought Josie has crossed the line

"how do you know what I've been through oh that's right you don't because you have a perfect life!" You said as you stormed out of the school building sitting next to the tree on a Little Rock as you laid your head in your hands trying to hide your tears

Billy Andrews has had a crush on you for the longest as he felt bad for what you were going through, and after over hearing you and josies conversation he walked over to you

"Y/n?"

"Go away," you said as you were crying

"Y/n it's me billy I just want to talk to you," said billy as he sat next to you "Josie shouldn't have said those things, and even if you are poor I still care about you,"

You scoffed

"Why do you care? You bully me to," you said

"Since when? And I care because your a human, sometimes people can't control there home life, so tell me why does your mother do all that stuff?"

You sighed

"I don't know half of me thinks I was a mistake when my grandparents think I'm not, I don't even know who my father is which makes it embarrassing," you said as you placed your head back into your hands

"Just know if you need anything... I'm right here by your side, so has your grandparents figure out a way to get custody of you?"

"Not yet there still trying, I hope it happens soon because as much as it sounds rude... I don't want to go through this anymore," you said

"Well hopefully you don't have to," said billy as he smiled "and I would hug you but you smell like smoke,"

You laughed sarcastically and shoved billy

A few months have passed and your mother has went to rehab well a mental institution to help with her problems, meanwhile you were living a luxury life with your grandparents, you finally had puffed sleeves and nice things to wear. Ever since then you and billy have been inseparable, later that turned into dating

You were sitting for your queens entrance exams, and after that you were going to meet up with billy to see your mom who has gotten out of the mental institution

After you were finished billy was waiting outside so you ran up to him and gave him a hug while he hugged you back

"So how are you feeling?" Asked billy as he was holding your hand

"Honestly scared, but nervous, some people say that stuff like this doesn't help them," you said as you had a frown

"Well if you need anything I'm right beside you," said billy as he smiled, you were glad to have billy by your side

As you reached the location you saw your mother sitting down she looked like she cleaned up her acts but half of you wasn't sure, you stopped for a second and made billy stand where he was as you told him that if you need anything you'll make a signal

You walked over to your mother as you took a deep breath and looked back at billy who had a thumbs up and you looked back ahead and walked some more brushing and flattening your dress

"Mother?" You asked as you slowly walked towards her, she looked up at you and smiled with tears in her eyes

"Oh darling you look even more beautiful than I imagined," said your mother as she gave you a hug you hugged back

"Mother there's someone I want you to meet," you said as you signal billy to come toward you and your mother, as you saw him approach he smiled at your mother

"Mother this Billy Andrews, the the boy I've been telling you about," you said as you smiled

"As long as he treats you like a princess, that's fine with me," said your mother as you smiled, he looked at you and smiled at you lovingly

"Oh way ahead of ya," said billy as that sentence made you blush

Maybe your mother has changed..

Sorry if this was dark, I kinda had this thought the other day because all this happened to me except for the ending so basically you can say that all this is based on real life event

Oh and I couldn't find a gif to go with this so just ignore that there's not one 😂
