"Alleviated by His Touch"

A mind full of uncertainties

Trying to toss out the feeling of enmity

Voiding myself from all the world's vanities

My feet remained on my ground, jittery.

Keeping my calm in the stillness of the night

When everything's vague and I'm losing my sight

Here in my heart He dwells forever

To suit my spirit from any dolorous matter.

My true saviour who kindled every hope

With Him in me I cling on to the rope

And in the times I grope, feeling a little dope

I asked Him to gently allay my ever-shaking boat.

In this light the presence of Him lingers

Every blessing I count symbolize a harbinger

That troubles and adversities will come my way

But through His glory bravely I shall stand to face every single day.

And as I wrote this very last envoi

The whole of me got freed from fear and coy

Peeking through the time that flew by

Alleviated by His touch, I heaved a deep sigh.
