The New Neighbor

The Past is out

*Hardin POV*

She falls asleep on my chest. Her hand is resting on my stomach and she is gripping my shirt. Her leg is resting on my waist and her breathing is slow and calm. She is so beautiful. I end up watching the rest of twilight then try to go to sleep. I don't succeed. I end up watching Tessa until my mom texts me. 'Where are you? You left with Tessa to go to your room and you're not here Hardin. I swear if you did something I will leave you here with your father and take Lee and myself back to England.' I read the text and realize that I forgot to tell them that we are okay. 'Mum I'm fine Tessa just fell asleep in our hideout that she has had since her childhood. I will see you tomorrow love you xx' I respond and she reads it but doesn't reply. I wanna know all about Tessa and her stories. I check the time and it's 3 in the morning. Shit I have school tomorrow. I look at Tessa and kiss her on the head and wrap my arms around her waist and she gets closer. I close my eyes and I end up falling asleep.

When I wake up and see Tessa has left. I get up and look around. I go into my room and get dressed. I receive a text from someone. 'Hello! It's Tessa. I was letting you know to meet me in the hangout at 8. See you soon!' I check the time. It's 7 30. I have a half an hour. I go check on Lea and make her breakfast. I give her a hug and go meet Tessa.

When I get into the hangout she is sitting there in the cutest outfit ever. She has a white crop top with a zip up hoodie and she has high waisted jeans. Her hair is in a messy bun and she has no makeup. "So I thought we could drive to school together. Get this I got my mom to let me use her car!" She sounds so happy. "Sure but... I have a car and I'm driving in it so let's go." I tell her and grab her hand. "Wait" She says and I let go "What?" I say and she smiles. She turns around and crawls back into her room. When she comes back she has a book bag on her shoulder and she has her phone. "Sorry I needed to get my bag and I need to text my mom" She says and I go back to my room. She comes out a minute later and she hands me a piece of paper. I open it and read it. 'I know it's your first day and I wanted to give you something...' I read it twice then looked up at her. "What is it?" I ask and she smiles the biggest I've ever seen. "This" She walks over to me and attaches her lips to mine. She grabs my neck and I grab her waist. She tastes like sweet candy. I pull her closer and kiss her harder. "Ahhh! EW!" I heard a small voice behind me and I let her go. I turn around and see Lea. Shit. "Hi lea! I am so sorry" Tessa says and walks toward her. "Umm. How do I unseen Th-that" She sounds like she walked in on us fucking. "I'm sorry you can't. Also I was just kissing her." I say and laugh. "It's still gross. By the way mum said you should leave for school." She says and I smile. "Thanks Lea. Bye!" I say and grab Tessa's hand. I pull her down the stairs and she is laughing the whole way to my car. "Omg she was so cute. I feel bad" Tessa says, still giggling. "Yep I'm closing my door for now" I say and she smiles. "Or we could just tell her to be careful. Well know that I say that I like your idea" She says and then looks behind me. "Is- is that your car?" She says, Like she has never seen a car before. "Yep. do you like it?" I say and she runs toward it. "Are you crazy I LOVE IT. I've wanted to have one of these forever. My mom said they could break down and I could get jumped or raped, again" She says the last part faintly. "Again?" I ask and open the door for her. She sits down and I get in on the other side. "What happened with Christi. Ok so it goes like this. I went to her house and she told her mom that I lost my virginity to her boyfriend. I tried to tell her no but she just kicked me out. I went to go back to my house but I walked around the block to calm down. Someone gr-grabbed me, He wouldn't let go. I kept screaming but he threw me on the ground. He just kept kicking and kicking me until I passed out. I woke up in a dark room. Some people came and took my clothes off. One man had a frisky beard and dirty hands. He walked toward me and umm. He started." She starts crying to the point that she can't form words. "He raped you?" I ask so she doesn't have to talk anymore. She nods and covers her face. "Come here" I say and she climbs over the seat and straddles my lap. She hugs me and buries her face into my shirt. I wrap my arms around her and rub her back. My other hand plays with her hair. If I ever see those people I will kill them. I can't believe her friend lied to her mum and then threw her best friend out. "I am so sorry that you had to go through that." I whisper into her ear. "If I could replace you with me for that one night I would." She calms down and moves back to her seat. "I'm sorry I-I shouldn't have thrown myself at you." She says and blushes. "Would you stop apologizing, You have nothing to be sorry for." I say. 

              A little while later I drive past a building. "You passed it" She says and I stop. "What? Where?" I ask and she gets out and opens my door. "I'll drive" She says and I get out. I walk to the passenger side and get in. "Do you know how to drive? I don't wanna die today" I say and laugh. She looks at me and then looks away. "Y-yeah of course" She stutters and I just hope she knows what she is doing.
