Graduation

*Tessa's POV*

                 This week is going to be the most stressful. We are all graduating and I can't wait to get out of school and focus on my future. I don't know what I want to be after highschool. I love books so maybe a writer. I also really love to draw and paint. I just want to be a happy person in my future.

          When I wake up I text Hardin and tell him I am on my way. I get dressed and do my hair. I do light curls and simple makeup. I brush my teeth and head over to Hardin's room. He is still sleeping so I try to wake him up. He doesn't listen to me so I jump on him. "Hardin Allen Scott wake your ass up!" I yell and he groans. "Okay Okay I am up" He says in his scratchy morning voice. When he opens his eyes they go wide and he shakes his head. "No, Not happening, You are NOT wearing that" He tells me and I frown. "Please Hardin its the last week of school I wont even see those people after this week" I try and convince him but he wins. I end up wearing his sweats and his T-shirt. "That's better" He smiles at me and I roll my eyes. "Yep sure" I sigh and he hugs me from behind. "Don't be a grouch" He laughs and I smile a little. "Fiiiinnne" I groan and we walk to his car.

           When we get to school we walk in and everyone looks at me. "SHE'S MINE SO STOP STARTING" Hardin yells and all the boys look away. "TESSA!" A voice shouts from behind and I turn around to see Ava. "Hi Ava" I walk up to her and I give her a hug. The rest of my crew shows up. I greet them all. "Okay what are we doing this weekend??" kassie asks and I laugh. "My mom said we can go to her cabin it's about 5 hours away. It's hidden in the woods and there is a lake." I suggest and they agree. I can't wait. "Omg it's Hardin's birthday this week!" I say just because I know he didn't want everyone to know. "Really Tessa?!" Hardin groans and I giggle. "Karmas a bitch" I laugh and he rolls his eyes. "okay see you after school." We say and pop off to our classes.

         When we get out of school we meet at my house. We are all up in our room waiting for Hardin and Kassie. Hardin shows up a little after 5 minutes. I text Kassie. 'Hey where are you?' She reads it but doesn't answer. "Kassie Is on her way" I say just because I can text her the details later. "So after graduation we will meet here and the boys will go in Hardin's car and follow the girls car. (Boys: Tristan,Jace, Landon, Shane, and Hardin) (girls: kassie, Ava, Alice, and Tessa) I am glad Hardin made some friends that ain't mine because my friends are too nice for Hardin. They all nod. " Okay someone fill in Kassie sense she didn't make it. See you tomorrow" I give everyone a hug and they go there separate ways.

           Today is graduation. I wear a nice dress so that I don't look like I enjoyed my education. I put on my sneakers and shove a pair of heels in my bag. I grab my phone and head over to Hardin's car. He comes out a little later wearing a dress shirt. He looks miserable. "Hello! How did you sleep? Also you look really cute!" I squeak out the last part. He chuckles. "I slept good and you look really cute as well." He says and I feel my cheeks heat up. I know we have been together for 4 months he still makes my body react like the first day I saw him. "Thank you baby" He kiss his cheek and he has a little hint of pink showing on his cheeks. "I love you so much" He tells me and I kiss his lips. "I love you more" I challenge because I know he hates when I challenge him. "Impossible" He shakes his head and I laugh. "Very possible" I push and he chuckles. "We are going to be late." He explains and I nod. He starts to drive.

                  The first person I see at school is Alice. She recently joined our school and I guess she is in our friend group. "Hey Tessa" She greets me and I give her a hug. "Hi" I say back. Kassie gets dropped off by Shane and she has a big smile on her face. "TESSA!" She squeals and runs over to me. "Hi Kassie" I greet her and she jumps up and down. "OH MY GOSH! SHANE PROPOSED TO ME!!!" She shouts and I join her screaming. Hardin rolls his eyes and I laugh. "So when's the wedding?!" I ask her and she has an even bigger smile now. "5 months!" She squeals and I hold her hands and jump up and down. Hardin pulls me to him. "Can I have my girlfriend back?" He asks Kassie and she rolls her eyes. "Yes but I get her when we are in the car driving to the middle of nowhere" She explains and he has a frown on his face. "Hey it's only 5 hours you will live not seeing me for 5 hours" I giggle and he shakes his head. "Nope we are not separating the genders into cars" He says and I laugh. "Fine" I laugh and Ava and Landon show up. "Hey!" Ava rushes over and Kassie shares the news. They have there cheer for a while and we head off to class.

                We head to the gym for graduation because it started to rain. Hardin sits across the gym from me and I text him. 'Hey I see you👀' he looks up and his eyes meet mine. A smile appears on his face. 'I see a cute blonde, I might need to see her after this because she is super hot' I read the text and eminently looked around. There is a blonde but she isn't cute. 'Fine you can have her but we are over!💔😤' I look up at him and he frowns. I can't believe he would hit on another girl. 'Your so gullible😂' at this point I am confused. 'Wtf are you talking about?! You just hit on another girl while texting YOUR girlfriend and then said you have to see her after grad!😢' I am so pissed at him right now. 'Baby I was talking about you not the girl behind you 😂' I feel my cheeks heat up and I giggle. 'Oh' is all I text because I am speechless. 'I love you and only you tess❤' I look up and smile at him. '❤' I respond. The ceremony starts and I put my phone down. "Thank you all for this amazing first year!" The principle starts out. I don't really pay attention because I just want to get out of this stupid school. Away from all the bad memories. I want to get on the road and drive to the middle of nowhere. I want to snuggle up to Hardin. I want to be the laugh of my friends. The love of my Hardin. The smiles of my family. I want everything to be all better. My thoughts get interrupted when the principle shouts 'Hardin Scott' I look up and she hands him his stuff and he says some words and leaves. The next person up is Ava then kassie. My name is finally called. I walk up and she hands me my stuff and she asks me to say a speech. "Hello my name is Tessa Young, I started my high school year rough and I couldn't have made it threw without my best friend Kassie, I wouldn't be the nice smiley person standing on this stage without my boyfriend Hardin who came from a dark past. He has changed my life and I am grateful for all my new friends. Thank you." I say and walk off the stage and run over to Hardin. He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. We kiss passionately for a little bit when Tristan comes off. He hugs Alice and we all look confused. "Oh my gosh he likes her" I whisper into Hardin's ear. He nods.

                 Once school is out we walk to our cars and head home. A little while later all of our friends showed up at my house. We put all of our stuff in the cars and hop in. In my car there is Hardin, Kassie, Shane, and Tristan. In the other car is Ava, Landon, and Jace. Landon is driving the car behind us and Hardin insisted he should drive.
