Tears

                A little while later the doctor comes in with a wheelchair and I try to get up but Hardin is weighing me down. He wakes up and moves his arms. "Sorry" He apologies once again and I tell him not too. He gets up and talks to the doctor. The doctor leaves and he tells me I can go home. He helps me into the wheelchair and I kiss his face all over. "I love you so much" He is shocked by my words and I laugh. "I love you more" He says and I gasp sarcastically. "That is impossible." I say then look down and see i'm still in a hospital gown. "Hardin wait" I say and he stops moving me. "What's wrong? Are you hurt?" He asks concerned and I shake my head. "No I'm fine I just wanted to change out of this hospital gown." I say and he nods. He walks over to the bin laying next to the ground and takes out some sweat pants and a plain black shirt. He walks back over to me and hands me the clothes. As I go to stand up I stumble. He grabs my arms and stedys me. "Ca-can you help me?" I ask. I know he has never seen my body but I just want to be comfortable. "Sure but only if you're okay with me seeing you" He says and I nod. He lifts me in his arms and carries me to the bed. His hands are shaky as he unclasp the gown. I feel the cool air hit my back and I move the gown off my shoulders. He puts the black t-shirt over my head and pulls it down. I breathe in and smell the Hardin sent that I love. The smell of sweet mint. This is his shirt. He helps me off the bed and kneels on the ground. I put my hands on his shoulder to keep me from toppling over. He quickly puts one of my legs into the pants and I feel safe once again. He helps me into the wheelchair once again. He starts to push me down the hall and I fall asleep. When I wake up again I am in my bed with Hardin playing with my hair. I smile and move over to see his face. I grab his cheeks and squish them and kiss his lips. He smiles at me and gets up. "I tried to find where those people could have taken your mum and I found three places. There is one like a half an hour away and then another one like an hour and a half. Then the last one is 5 hours away. I am going to wait until tomorrow then I am sending you to kassie's house. I promise you I will come back with your mum" He says and I start to cry. I shake my head 'no' over and over. "No you're not leaving me here" I say and wipe my eyes. "Tess if I don't go now then your mum could die." He says and I flinch at the thought of her death. I gently nod my head and look down. "You know I don't want to leave you" He says and I nod. "I know, Please be careful" I say and he nods. He gets up and packs some of his clothes into a bag. "Stay here and I will be right back." He says and runs out of the room.

*Hardin's POV*

I run out of the room and run into her house. I run into her room. I look through her closet and pack some of her clothes. I remember the secret room between the two houses and crawl into my room. She is sitting there picking at her hands. "Okay I packed some of your clothes. You should be good while I'm gone" I say to her and more tears fall from her eyes. I don't want to leave but I have to. She can't lose her mum. I help her up and walk her into the bathroom. "I'm going to help you take a shower" I say and she nods. "Okay thank you" She replies and kisses my cheek. I undress her and help her into the tub. I sit her down and I undress. I sit behind her. "Here tell me if I hurt you." I tell her and she nods. I run my fingers through her hair and watch as the shampoo bubbles up. She flinches and I move my hands away. She whimpers. "Why did you stop?" She asks. "Because I hurt you" I explain and she shakes her head no. "No you didn't" She tells me and I rinse her hair out. I put the conditioner in and let it soak. While that is doing that I wash her body. "Can I touch your chest?" I ask because I don't want to make her uncomfortable. She nods and I wash the front of her. "I am so sorry I let this happen." I say and she shakes her head and puts her hands on mine. "It's not your fault. Stop blaming yourself." She says and I look away. I wash her off and then rinse her hair. I help her up and wrap her in a towel. I sit her on the bed and walk back into the bathroom. I wrap a towel around my waist and help her get dressed. I get myself dressed and lay down next to her. "Tess you know I love you right?" I ask her. I know she knows I do. I just need to make sure she says she does. "Yes and I love you, Ever since that day I fainted on the floor. You made me feel safe again. I love you so much that words can't explain." She says and then leans over to kiss me. I grab her waist and slip my tongue inside her mouth. She lets out a little moan and I pull her on top of me. She starts to move her hips and I moan into her mouth. She smiles and I pull away. "Why are you smiling?" I ask and she giggles. "Because I love the way I can make you feel." She says and I smile. "I love the way you moan when I kiss you. But we can't because the doctor said no physical activity." I explain and she frowns. "But I don't care what the doctor said. You leave tomorrow and you might not come back I wan-" I cut her off by kissing her. "I told you before that I would come back. I will not break that promise." I say and she smiles. "Okay" She says in a low voice so I can barely hear her. "Now let's go to bed" I move her off me and lay her head on my chest. One of her hands plays with my hair and the other trases shapes on my chest. I rest my arm on her back and put my other arm under my head. I feel her breathing slow and then her movements stop. I look down to see a sleeping Tess. "I love you. I will find your mum and come back" I whisper and she smiles. I close my eyes and fall asleep.

*Tessa's POV*

I hear Hardin whisper that he loves me and that he will find my mom. "I love you more baby" I whisper and watch as his smile appears on his face. I fall asleep to his breathing.
