Best Friends

*Hardin's POV*

I walk into the office with Tess in my arms. "Where is the nurse's office?" I ask and she just looks at me. "Look, Steph beat her" I say and she points me down the hallway. I find it and run in, The nurse is sitting at her desk. She Looks up at me and sees Tess. "Oh set her here" She gestures to the bed. I set Tessa down and then sit in the chair. "So what happened? And you can call me Denise" She looks at me and I tell her what happened. "My tummy hurts" Tessa says and the hottest voice I've ever heard. "I know sweetie" Denies says and rubs her back. She hands Tessa some medicine and she swallows it. A couple minutes pass and Tess smiles. "I'm feeling better, can I go?" She asks in a polite tone. "Yes you may. Thank you..." Denies looks at me. "Hardin," I answer her. "Thank you Hardin" She gives me a smile and me and Tess leave. "We can go to lunch English ends in 1 minute." She says and shows me around a bit. We walk into a big cafeteria and I realize that this school is bigger than my old one. We sit at a round table and two people join us. "Hi!" One of them says and the other one smiles. "Hi, Hardin this is Jasmine and this is Kassie, Kassie and Jasmine, this is Hardin," Tessa introduces them and they greet me. Jasmine is wearing a baggy shirt and skinny jeans. Kassie is in a bright neon green cropped tank top and black shorts that show too much. They stare at me until Tess breaks the silence. "Steph beat me up" Jasmine looks at her. Kassies face drops and she gets up. We watch her as she goes over to steph, Kassie grabs her hair and pulls her back. Steph is screaming and I try to hide my laugh. "Did you hurt Tessa?!" She says and points at me so steph can't bitch out. "Yes" Steph speaks in a small voice and Kassie yanks her hair causing her to fall onto the ground. Kassie keepts kicking her until she is crying, Kassie then grabs her head and starts smashing it on the ground. I get up and stop her when Steph starts bleeding from her head and nose. "GET OFF!" two teachers rush up behind her and grab her arms she fights at first but then relaxes. She looks at Tessa and makes a heart with her hands and mouths 'Love you' She looks at Tessa and smiles. Steph is lying on the floor bleeding. "Can you not bleed on the ground?" Tessa asks and we all chuckle. "Shut u-up" Steph says and sits up. She holds her head and pinches her nose. "Hardin can you carry me to the nurses office?" She looks at me and pouts. "Back off bitch" Tessa looks at Steph and says. Steph looks at her and then back at me. "No, like I said earlier. I.Have.A.Girlfriend, And she is NOT you, Go bleed somewhere else." I look straight into her eyes and say those words clearer than her tears. She huffs and walks away. "So who is this girl you're dating?" Tessa asks as soon as Steph leaves the room. "I don't have one yet. I just want her to leave me the fuck alone" I say and she laughs. I want to make Tessa my girlfriend. I know she will never date me after she knows what happened in London. She probably will want to move and never see me again. My mum will think I did something to her and leave me here with my fucked up dad. 

The bell rings and I have no clue where to go. "Tess!" I call when I see she has almost left with Jasmine. "Oh shit, Sorry" She says and stops. "Save me a seat" Tessa calls after Jasmine leaves she nods and vanishes into the crowd of people. "Where is..." I look at my schedule. "Math?" I finish and look up to see Tessa's eyes on me. "Follow me" She says and looks away. How long has she been standing there? Why was she looking at me? Why am I in love with a girl I met yesterday? I follow Tess to a class and I spot Steph. "Here you are, meet me by the office when you get out." She smiles and she turns to leave, I grab her waist and pull her back. "Stephs in this class," I whisper in her ear. "Shit, Well sorry just don't pay attention to her." She whispers back. She kisses my cheek and rushes to her class. I walk in and sit in the back. Steph doesn't notice me.
