IN REAL LIFE.
it has been four days since the party. three days since she last saw him. four days since she had came back from rehab. four days since she had talked to her friends.
alaina had started distancing herself from her friends. and although it may seem like a selfish thing for her to do, it didn't seat right with her that her friends weren't there for her when she needed them.
they were busying partying the night away and when they realised she was missing, it was too late. alaina had to come up with a lie that she was feeling unwell because it was too late for them to start worrying about her. she needed them but they were too busy having fun. and she didn't want to ruin that for them.
right now it was 2 in the afternoon. alaina stared at the ceiling of her room, refusing to get her up and start her day. her bed was the comfiest place in the world to her and she missed snuggling into it during her time in rehab. for the past couple of days, alaina has gone back to her old ways.
but today was a different day. she wanted to change. she refused to give in so easily. after a few minutes of hesitation, alaina finally sighed and got out of bed.
"you can fucking do this alaina! today's going to be a good day!" alaina said to herself, a form of motivation she often needed.
as she made her bed, she received another notification from her phone. alaina picked up her phone and her lips shifted into a smile as she screamed in joy.

jules was a strong headed and fearless person. alaina still remembered the day when she was being picked on by a slightly older girl on her first day of rehab. jules didn't hesitate to defend alaina physically, despite the many consequences for her.
alaina was beyond thankful to have been able to met someone like her.
"JULES OMG" alaina said as she read her texts and quickly replied to her new friend who had just been released from rehab.
