An Angel

Just something simple to pass the time while I plan out my next story or chapter.

~Keira's POV~

My day started out normal. I went to school, hung out with friends, but on my way home was when things got weird.

The girls were chasing me. At first I thought that they were just normal cheerleaders, but the more I studied them, the more they looked monstrouse. What did they call themselves? Em... possy? I don't know. All I know is that they suck.

The closest one to me lashed out, raking it's claws down my arm. Damn these claws hurt. What even are these? They definetely aren't human. "What the heck man?" I whined, looking back at the girl who hurt me. "What did I do to you?" In return to my question I got a dry laugh, "You just smell so good young demigod. We just wanted to meet you." The... thing growled. "Maybe even get a snack."

What!? Wtf is going on? What is a demigod? I couldn't dwell on that now. I had to get out of here.

It had rained last night, making the sidewalk muddy. That seriously didn't help.

Speeding up a little, I made a sharp right. Going staight into the woods. Maybe I could shake them in there.
It was much more muddy in here, but there were much more obsicles the monsters would have to get past. Im glad I took cross country or else I would be dead already.

Ducking past trees, I made it into a clearing. A very muddy clearing. The Empossys weren't here yet. Good. I stopped to catch my breath. Bad choice. The growling and stomping had stopped. Shoot. I whipped around, coming face to face with 3 whatever they are called. I took a step back, slipping on some mud and falling on my butt.

"Hehehe you scared girly? Don't worry! We'll make your death as painful as possible"

What is going on? They took a step closer. Getting ready to pounce. I felt tears pour down my muddy face. I don't want to die! The monsters pounced, jumping into the air. I closed my eyes, waiting for death, but was instead met with heat.

Slowly, I opened my eyes. Scanning my surroundings. Just where the monsters were just standing, a pile of ash lay. What happened? Where did that heat come from? Before I could even stand, a hand grabbed the back of my shirt pulling me off the ground. I couldn't help but scream. Have the devils come for my soul!? But I thought I lived a kind life?

I was pulled onto a bronze dragon machine thingy. Sitting in front of me was a scrawny boy with elfish features. He looked back at me with a mischievious smile. "Hey don't be scared! Leo Mcshizzle here is just going to take you somewhere where you'll be safe!" He turned back around and looking at the ground as we passed overhead, I couldn't help but think this seemed all too much like I was being saved by an angel.

Just to clarify: She feels that Leo is an angel(Or her gaurdian angel because he saved her) because they were flying. And angels fly. Also Keira does not have any romantic interest in Leo. I love Caleo and don't feel like putting anything inbetween them. She just looks up to him because he saved her. Maybe ill write a quick story about her life at CHB. Also I feel like Keira is probably 9 or 10 and she lives quite close to the school so her parents let her walk. Anyways thank you for reading! Btw I wrote this on my phone whil watching TV so im sorry if anything is wrong or bad. ~Lucky
