I mentioned I would write a summary for chapter nine, skipping anything triggering. Anyways this is it

Gon talks about things that have been going on in the three months after Killua went to college. Things like Kurapika and Leorio dating, him having a girlfriend, meeting his dad, but also that Killua has become very distant. So Gon calls him. After they hang up, Gon realizes that there was something off about how Killua spoke in past tense, as if things, like their friendship, are over. Gon then starts to worry and rides his bike to Killua's college in a very emotional state.

This is where I'm just gonna skip the obvious.

Gon blames himself after the paramedics took Killua to the hospital.

It then skips to Killua waking up in a hospital bed, while Gon was sitting next to him resting his head on the bed. Gon apologizes because he still thinks it was his fault. Killua stops him and briefly explains why that isn't the case.

The last phrase is Killua telling Gon he is in love with him.
