--------------------------------------------------------------

It's been three months since Gon and Killua graduated and things have been going great! For Gon at least.

The green-haired male finally found a girl he likes. A lot. Maybe even a little too much. And after confessing to her, she happily agreed to start a relationship with him.

Speaking of which, Kurapika and Leorio finally announced their relationship, since Gon confronted them about it after they started to get very suspicious. Once, when Gon knocked on their door, they both yelled that he should wait for a sec and whem they let him in things were... awkward to say the least.

He met his dad, Ging. If you asked him, he would say they get along well enough for their situation. Aunt Mito wasn't very fond of him yet though.

The only thing he missed was Killua.

Whenever Gon called, Killua felt very cold and distant, unlike before. He kept leaving him on read but never texted or called, himself. Knowing Killua, college stress wasn't the reason. And no matter how much Gon tried to find an answer to why that was, he just couldn't.

But at the moment, he wasn't able do much more than call him again.

"Gon, it's gotten a bit chilly. If you're going out, take a jacket, please!" Aunt Mito yelled from the living room.

"Alright thanks Auntie!"

As soon as Gon walked out the wooden front door, the cold October wind hit him in the face, making him bury his head deeper in his grass green jacket. The sun had went down about an hour ago, so about 8 PM and the stars and moon lit the dark night up ever so slightly. But for some reason, Gon didn't mind any of it. Quite frankly, he was enjoying it. It reminded him of that night months back.

Killua just fought with his brother Illumi and when he had enough of it, he ran away. Only about a minute after, Gon followed him, finding him on a rooftop an hour later. And so, they spend more than half the night talking, giggling and just staring at the stars in silence.

Thinking back to it, that would be the perfect date.

Without even really thinking about it, Gon grabbed his phone from the pocket of his green pants. Clicking on the speed dial section, his eyes spot the name and he immediately taps on it.

"Pick up Kil...", he whispered to himself as his  heart filled with disappointment. All he could hear was the monochrome beeping of the phone dialing. Until someone picked up.

"Hello."

"KILLUA!" Suddenly a wave of excitement fullfilled his body.

"Funny, I was thinking of calling you."

"You were? Why?" Gon didn't believe him but deep in his mind he had a tiny bit of hope.

"I just wanted to say thank you."

"Thank you? For what?"

"For always being there for me, even though that may be over now, you really helped me back then."

Something was off. Not only did this whole "I wanted to call you" story seem unbelievable and now thanking Gon for something he did ages ago, and not even conciously, sounded wrong.

"Goodb-"

"Wait, Killua! Do you... want to meet up some time soon? There is alot we could talk about."
