Zhan was glad that he finally got warm with Yibo's friends and they obviously got along well. Only Seungyoun still kept a big distance to him. Zhan suspected that this one, as Yibo's best friend, would take more time. But at the same time he also had a strange feeling about it, because Seungyoun seemed to avoid him on purpose.

When after more than 30 minutes they all finally found a place in the park where they could sit down and talk, Seungyoun sat down next to Zhan and whispered into his ear: "I hope you are really serious about Yibo. Because if you don't, and you break my best friend's heart, I'll find you and I'll beat you up!"

Shocked, Zhan stared at him and would have liked to get up and confront him immediately. But he wanted to keep the peace and instead remained calm. What did this guy have against him? Had Zhan said or done anything that made him think he wasn't serious about Yibo?

But even after an hour in which everyone had a friendly conversation, Seungyoun's attitude didn't change. And Zhan was fed up with his sinister look. So he stood up and said to Seungyoun: "You and I should have a talk. Alone!"

"What's wrong ZhanZhan?" Yibo asked him with a startled look.

"I'll handle it with Seungyoun alone." Zhan finally had enough. He wanted to know what Seungyoun's problem was with him. And he didn't want to wait any longer and face it right now.

When the two of them had taken a few steps and were alone, Zhan asked straight out, "What's your problem with me?"

Seungyoun looked at him thoughtfully for a moment and then said, "I have no problem with you. I just don't want you to hurt my best friend in case you change your mind."

" Change my mind? About what?"

"Well, with your looks, I'd guess you're pretty popular with the men and women. And who knows, maybe someday you'll see someone you like better than that inexperienced Yibo and leave him."

"Oh, my God. Listen to this. Believe it or not, Yibo is my first boyfriend, my first relationship, and I even had my first kiss with him. I'm very serious about him, even though I can't believe how fast it's happening. But still I am sure that I love Yibo and want to be with him. And I am even sure about the wedding. Even though I can't believe how fast I agreed to do it. But like I said, I love Yibo. I love him very much and I can very well imagine a life with him. Of course he and I are different and maybe many people think we don't fit together because of that. But maybe that's what makes us a good couple."

"So you really think you can make Yibo happy forever?"

"I don't think so. I know it. Don't ask me how I know. Because I can't answer that question. I just feel it. It's deep inside of me, and as strange as it sounds, this feeling tells me he's the one, and everything's gonna be fine."

"But you yourself said it's too soon."

"I'm not saying it's too soon. I'm saying it's happening very quickly. But that doesn't change the way I feel about him. Or my desire to share the rest of my life with him."

"Okay, I just hope you understand me. I just don't want Yibo to fall for the wrong guy and get his heart broken. Even though he always seems like the unapproachable and strong man, he is still sensitive and easily hurt. That's why I, as his longest and best friend, am looking out for him."

"I understand that very well. And it' s good that you look after Yibo like this. It shows you are really his best friend. Just take some time to get to know me, instead of rejecting me. And who knows, maybe you'll change your mind about me. And remember, we both have the same goal."

"Same goal?"

"Yes, we both want Yibo to be happy."

"You are right, Zhan. OK, I apologise for my behaviour and for what I said to you earlier. I'm willing to give you a chance because I think you really care about Yibo."

"Oh, how did I convince you so quickly?"

" Simply Zhan. You talked to me and explained yourself. It also means that you respect and accept me as Yibo's best friend."

"Of course I do." Zhan replied.

The two men shook hands and told each other that from now on they would try to get along for Yibo.

As they walked back to the others, Yibo came running to Zhan and hugged him. He gave Zhan a kiss and hugged him tightly. "I missed you already, Bunny." He said whining to Zhan.

Seungyoun smiled and went on to the others. Zhan, on the other hand, let Yibo cuddle him first. They didn't care who was watching them. Let everyone see that they, two men, love each other. Zhan didn't mind, because he is proud to have such a wonderful and handsome boyfriend.

After Zhan and Yibo were back with the others, the small group spent a few more hours together. They talked, played volleyball, and when they got hungry, they went to a snack bar together and ate in peace before they all said goodbye to each other.

When Zhan and Yibo arrived at Zhan's apartment, Yibo should have gone home shortly afterwards. But the two had talked in the morning and decided that as long as Zhan is on vacation, Yibo will stay overnight at Zhan's place. Since he is going to the water park anyway, he can always take Yibo with him. And so the two of them can already try out living together.

They took a shower one after the other and then sat together in the kitchen and ate a fresh mixed salad, which Zhan had quickly prepared. They talked about the day and everything they had experienced. Zhan counted up his successes in the climbing hall again and said that he could already feel the sore muscles.

"You ZhanZhan?"

"Hmm?"

"Were you, how should I say, unhappy today when we arrived at the climbing hall?" Yibo asked.

"Why are you asking me this now?"

"Well, it's been on my mind all day. You looked so lost and like you were about to run away."

"I wouldn't have run away, and at first I felt like a third wheel. And when you started climbing before I was ready, I was really pissed off. But thanks to Maya, that changed quickly."

"Maya again. I guess you like her."

"No, I don't like her. I think she's really nice. And she took good care of me, the way an employee should. That doesn't mean I like her for that or want anything from her. I've already found someone I love and want to be with and stay with."

"Oh, ZhanZhan, you said that sweetly. I love you too, like crazy. And I was really jealous when you hugged her. At first I thought you were teasing me. But then I understood you when I was so proud of myself after I'd finished the last wall. I was so happy I just wanted to hug you too."

"Mmm, me too. But since you were on the wall and Maya was standing there, I hugged her. But that doesn't mean you have to worry about it or be jealous. And I think it's good that we both talk about it and we work it out before there's a fight because misunderstandings have arisen."

"Well, my mother always says that everything should be talked about instead of eating it up inside until it explodes."

"Your mother's right, and my mother always says so too." Zhan replied.

He was glad that they talked about what bothered them and what was great. He also told Yibo about his conversation with Seungyoun. Zhan told Yibo that he could be proud to have a best friend who is so concerned about his happiness. And he told him that Yibo would soon meet Zhan's best friend. And that Chuyue, probably similar to Seungyoun, would react. Zhan is already very excited about this meeting.
