Ushijima's favorite time of the day is morning.

Tendō and (Y/N) both agree he's crazy for even insinuating something like that.

It's chaotic from the moment their morning begins and ends.

It's chaotic when the alarm rings, and Tendō rolls off the bed and hits the ground, and Ushijima stretches and sometimes accidentally pushes (Y/N) against the wall the bed's pressed against.

It's chaotic in the bathroom not even half an hour later with (Y/N) shoving himself in their small shower with Ushijima since he accidentally fell back asleep for way too long and he'll be late to work if he doesn't get in immediately. Oh, and of course, Tendō's getting dressed in the bathroom too.

Tendō can do this just fine in the bedroom, but (Y/N) has a feeling he doesn't want to feel left out as (Y/N) shouts at Ushijima for hogging the shampoo.

Then it's more chaotic as there's a race to the kitchen where Tendō will quickly kiss both of his boyfriends on the cheeks before he quickly fixes up whatever he can with what's left in their kitchen so they can eat.

And then Tendō's off to chocolate school (which (Y/N) didn't even know was a thing until a few months ago), Ushijima's off to practice, and (Y/N)'s racing to get to his part time job, hoping he doesn't miss his bus.

Next it's Tendō's favorite time of day, midday leading into the early afternoon. Ushijima doesn't really have an opinion, and (Y/N) likes it, but it's not his favorite. He also doesn't understand how it's Tendō's favorite part since he's at work–which he also hates–for most of it.

Ushijima gets home first usually, next Tendō with shopping bags from some random store, then lastly, (Y/N) gets home and collapses onto the couch for half an hour, grumbling about how he hates customers.

Tendō listens to his complaints as he watches TV, (Y/N)'s head resting on his thigh with an arm curled the best it can be around Tendō's waist. Ushijima squeezes in between the arm of the couch and Tendō, listening in while lightly leaning against Tendō and running a hand through his red hair.

This is usually the time Tendō makes out with Ushiwaka while (Y/N) is teetering on the edge of unconsciousness and is too out of it to rile Tendō up too much before his work, so maybe that's why it's his favorite time of the day.

And then too soon as always, Tendō's off to his part time job, kissing them both before going to exit the apartment. He throws up a peace sign after distractedly walking into the doorframe because he was too busy staring at (Y/N) and Ushijima.

"What an idiot," (Y/N) lets out a laugh when the door finally shuts. He rolls onto his back, throwing a hand onto Ushijima's lap who holds it without any hesitation.

"You should look over your notes before you go to class," Ushijima reminds, and (Y/N) throws a decorative pillow at him with his free hand, complaining about how it's 'relaxation time' and how Ushijima 'should stop being such.. such a... turtle and fussing about his stupid college classes.'

Ushijima doesn't know what being a turtle means but doesn't ask either.

Ten minutes pass, and (Y/N)'s slouched over a laptop and notebook and is a little more awake. Ushijima reads over (Y/N)'s shoulder with his chest up against his back.
