Mermaids and merman came out of caves, swimming towards a gleaming castle that looked almost gold. They ventured to the arches, sitting in a large staged room that had purple flowers lining tops of arches and pillars.

A fanfare of trumpet like instruments sounded, long nosed fish lining up on the side as a tiny seahorse swam up, clearing his throat, "His royal highness, King Alfor!"

The mer-king entered the room in a large shell, which was being pulled by three dolphins. He waved his trident in the air, sending Sparks up to a chandelier to make it glow. The crowd of mer-folk went wild with 'oohs' and 'awes' along with applause.

"And presenting the distinguished court composer, Horatio Thelonious Ignatius Crustaceous Coran!" The seahorse continued

Coran entered to a mild applause, being pulled in a shell by two small fish.

He was pulled to the side of the king, who spoke to him, "I'm really looking forward to this performance."

"Ah, your majesty," The orange crab began. "This will be the finest show I've ever arranged. Your children, they'll be spectacular!"

"Yes." Alfor agreed with a chuckle as he sat down. "Especially Lance.

Coran nodded quickly, "Yes, yes. A nice voice he has indeed." He became quiet, grumbling to himself. "If only he'd show up for rehearsals once in a while."

The crab was pulled to a coral podium, beginning to direct the orchestra of fish. The music began and two girls appeared out of clams. One had long, flowing, white hair, her pink sparkly tail matching with her pink seashell top. The other had two braids in her hair, her purple tail clashing with the blue seaweed like top.

The two proceeded to sing, their voice mixing and harmonizing with the instruments, "Oh, we are the children of Alfor. Great father who loves us and named us well: Allura~ and Romelle~! And then there is the youngest in his musical debut, the third sibling, we're presenting him to you, to sing a song Coran wrote. His voice is like a bell, he's our brother-"

A giant shell had opened, yet there was nothing inside as Alfor yelled, "Lance!"

Lance peered over a broken sail of a ship, his blue tail flicking in excitement.

"Lance, wait for me!" Hunk, the yellow and orange striped fish, called out.

"Hunk, come on. Hurry up!" Lance waved him over.

Hunk huffed as he caught up. "You know I can't swim that fast."

"There it is." Lance breathed out, ignoring Hunk's words as he stared at the sunken ship before them. "Isn't it fascinating?"

"Y-Yeah, sure. I-It-It's great." Hunk stuttered, shivering from fear. "Now let's head back."

Lance scoffed, "Your not getting cold fins, are you?"

"Who, me? No! N-No way! It's just- ah. It looks... damp in there." Hunk rambled. "A-And- oh. I think I may be coming down with something. Yeah, this cough that I have."

Hunk coughed, one that wasn't very convincing to the anamused merman.

"Well, alright." Lance sighed out with a sad face. "I guess can stay here and watch for sharks."

The boy swam in the sunken ship, his tail easily slipping through a rusty porthole.

"Yep, you go. I'll stay and-" Hunk gasped. "What did you say?! Sharks?! Lance!"
