Yawning, he sat up from his bed after getting only 2 hours of sleep. He swore under his breath and got up, walking to his closet and changing his clothes before going downstairs to the ground floor.

He tiredly walked to the kitchen, not even glancing at the figure sitting by one of the island counters and greeting them. "Morning." He yawned again as he started making himself some coffee. The figure behind the counter smiled and greeted back with a small giggle. "Good morning!"

They looked at the machine the boy was handling and tilted their head curiously. "What's Desperately Black Coffee?"

Kotsu scoffed and pressed the button before taking his vulgar mug away and leaning on the counter, facing them and sloshing the coffee around in his mug slowly, raising it to sip. "Why, only the best God damn- Who are you??"

He nearly dropped his mug at the sight of a random stranger by the counter, going pale. He wasn't just pale because of the sudden need to socialize with strangers, but also because his mug's design was being presented to-

"Hi, I'm Kasakila, and I'm 8! You can call me Kila though," She beamed, her legs swinging around playfully as she sat on the stool. "also.. what does fuck mean?" The 8 year old girl asked. She had very light blonde hair styled into two cheery pigtails at the side of her head, wearing shorts under an oversized sweater so big it looked like a dress, the sleeves going over her hands loosely. A cute little precaution sign was embedded into the middle of her sweater.

He dropped his mug with a loud crash then turned to look at the mess pooling around his feet. "Shi-" He stopped himself and covered his mouth, breaking a sweat.

Kasakila blinked and giggled. "Are you okay??"

Kotsu nodded. "Uh.. Yeah, I am, I'm fine.." He crouched down and started cleaning up his mess, whispering foreign swears to himself under his breath.

"Do you need help?" He jumped and fell over, looking to his side. The kid somehow appeared beside him without standing from the seat, just standing there cheerfully.

"Uh-"

"Oh there you are, ya lil shit!"

"Kaskan!!" She grinned and ran over to Kaskan, hugging his waist. He chuckled, ruffling her hair. He looked at Kotsu and snickered. "You alright??"

Kotsu blinked. "...Who the fuck is that?? WAIT UH DON'T-"

"I'm kidding, I know what swears are." She giggled. "I just don't say them, I'm not allowed to." She continued with a pout.

Kaskan laughed and high fived the smol child. "Nice-" He caught Kotsu's glare. "Uh.. I'll get you a new mug, I swear" He chuckled nervously. Kotsu rolled his eyes and finished cleaning up, huffing as he tossed it in the trash.

"Anyways.. What the hell??" He asked, turning around. Kaskan looked confused for a sec before realizing. "Oh- Yeah, Kila is my sister :)"

"..Since when did you have more than one sister??"

"Since this morning," Kaskan answered casually, taking some juice boxes from the fridge and handing one to Kila, who cheered and took it, skipping back over to her seat from earlier. Taking the straw, he punctured the box.

"..This morning."

"Yeah."

"An 8 year old.. was born this morning."

"Oh, no, myths aren't born" Kaskan cleared up with a smile, taking the straw into his mouth.

"Oh, alright. Okay. So they just appear out of mid air, then?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah :))"

Kotsu squinted. "What." He shook his head. "I'm not buying it."
