Rule #11- People are assholes.

*trigger warning, deals with alcohol and a mental breakdown*

"Len let me explain" I said but Conan pushed me away, "seriously?" I asked in sorta of shock. "You're so weirdly obsessed with my girlfriend, this is why I didn't wanna bring her around you" Len yelled pulling Billie into his embrace. "You're not gonna say anything!" I yelled at Billie as the tears started to flow down my face. But she bit her lip and laid her head on lens shoulder, "don't get close to my friends or my girlfriend again or you'll regret it" Len said harshly as he started to walk away. "Like mother like daughter right?" Lenny asked referring to the bottle in my hands. Ouch. "Let's go babes" lauren whispered to me helping me into the car. My friends didn't defend me and Billie didn't correct Len to what really happened. "You want me to come inside?" Lauren asked, "I'm good, drive home safe" I mumbled getting out of the car and walking into the cold empty house. I blasted my music and took out the hard liquor hidden under a cabinet from my mom. I took a couple swings before taking a bat and taking swings at the picture frames of my mom, after destroying those I started to swing at random objects and drinking more. "Fuck you!" I yelled loudly at the picture of my mom before punching the picture causing it to shatter all over my hand. Suddenly the voicemail machine rang through the house and the voice of my dad came through the speaker, "I won't be home until about the 16th, I'm sorry baby" is all he said before hanging up. "Fuck you" I sobbed as I dropped to the ground and held myself.
The next couple of days were a drunken blur, I wasn't sober enough to care that my friends didn't call or that I was alone, I was just alone, intoxicated and sad. I sat against the wall as the music blasted throughout my house and I didn't realize that it was 4pm and I was drunk on a Monday. "Babes?" I heard from the front door and Lauren entered and noticed the glass covering the ground and the liquor bottles all over the floor. She didn't say much but she helped me off of the ground and helped me into a bath, I sat there holding my knees to my chest while she poured water over my head. "I just wanna feel something" I mumbled and Lauren only nodded and pecked my forehead. After helping me wash my hair and body she cleaned up the glass from the floor and the empty bottles, she also wrapped my hand in bandages before laying down on the carpet which I was currently laying on and looking at me. "Will you hold me?" I mumbled and she pulled me into her and held me while I cried. People are assholes.
