Reader POV:

As the tour drew to a close, I found myself closer to Dracula then I was at the start. I couldn't help but blush when I looked at him going from room to room. Eventually, we come to a standstill in front of a large double door. It seems much grander than the others. It additionally had a massive padlock on the front of it. Drac suddenly pulls out some strange key from his pocket and walks over to the door unlocking it. "This is our last stop. I don't normally show anyone this room, but I have a feeling you're going to like it." He said turning to me with a smile. I couldn't help but smile back.

"I feel special," I say sarcastically with a chuckle as he opens the door. When I step inside the room, I look around in awe of a massive library room. It's so pleasant, the lights and the atmosphere it's warm and welcoming just like the rest of the hotel. The shelves are so well spaced and organized. They are enormous though and each ladder is like an oak tree. There was a nice fireplace in front of me with some black sofas in front of it. I felt Drac smiling behind me and that caused me to blush lightly whilst getting all excited and giddy looking around.

"Do you like it?" He asks, setting his hand on my shoulder.

"I LOVE IT!" I couldn't help but yell in excitement as I quickly hugged him, "Why did you show me this place?"

He looks at me after hugging me back, "Well you seemed like the type of person who likes to read. Johnny also mentioned that you're more of a subtle type and you're not a fan of crowds. So this is the best place for you as no one ever comes here thanks to the padlock."

"Why is there a padlock on the door?" I ask confused, realizing it's a bit strange to have a giant padlock for such a delightful place.

Drac looks at me then around the room. "I used to have this room open all the time, everyone came in here when they required some space to themselves but, after Wayne had his first pack of pups, they destroyed this place in seconds with how wild they got. I managed to restore it with my magic but chose to lock the room for everyone aside from my family and now you."

I look down to see his hand in front of me holding the key to the library, I smile broadly and look up at the vampire, "really? You're allowing me to have this room!"

"Mavis never uses it and I can tell how much you love this place. Hence, if you want it. It's yours. Think of it as a welcome gift." He replies, handing me the key, closing my hand around it.

"Mavis is extremely lucky to have you for father. Everything she said about you was true." I smile serenely at him placing the key in my pocket.

He tilts his head to the side confused, "Mavis was talking about me?"

I nod briefly, "All good things. I was a bit scared to meet you after finding out her father was the prince of darkness. But when she told me about how kind and sweet you were and how you would always put others before yourself. I wanted to meet you after that to see if she was genuine and well she was."

"Hehe. I am pretty great!" He stands proud with his hands on his hips looking up to the ceiling. He looked like a somewhat superhero. I couldn't help but giggle at how cute he looked before deciding to explore the library. I was always a fan of old-fashioned writing and poetry but recently I've been reading Stephen King and I need to finish Pet Sematary. I wonder if he has it. I just need to figure out how he's organized this place, "Are you seeking a specific book?"

"Yes, I am. Do you have Pet Sematary by Stephen King?" I ask looking at him from behind a shelf.

"I should. He uses his magic to pull out a large number of books all of which were classic Stephen King titles. And sure enough, there was Pet Sematary. He recovers the book and hands it to me, "here you go."

I smile and accept the book from him as he uses his magic to return the others, "Thank you! I meant to finish this book for some time now."

"Why didn't you finish the book?" he asks.

I look away from him for a moment, "It's kind of a long story..."

"I've got time, come sit on the sofa with me." He walked over to one of the sofas and placed his hand down next to him patting the cushion for me to sit next to him. I hesitantly sat down next to him before looking at the book on my lap. "So why didn't you finish the book?"

"Well, I started reading this when I was thirteen. I had always been a fan of horror. I grew up watching Halloween and a nightmare on Elm street with my mother along with other horror movies like the Evil dead and Candyman. I decided after watching over 100 horror movies that I would dive into the book world. My mother bought me every Stephen king book written at the time. Cujo was always my favorite probably because I love dogs. Dad worked as a commanding officer in the army so I never saw him, I'm glad about that. He wasn't exactly the kindest man. He and my mother were divorced by the time I turned 10. He set free to her wedding dress after she slapped him during an argument for calling her something rude. I don't recall what. He didn't like me having books though. Or anything for that matter. He wanted me to be like him, not a bookworm who lives down the street next to a library. He had hope for me, didn't he?"

He turns to me and looks at me sympathetically, "Your father sounds awful. I'm sorry you had to grow up with a man who forced you to be someone you're not."

I smile at him before looking at the book again, "No don't' feel sorry for me. Um, the reason I never finished this book was because he decided to make a 'surprise' visit. By that I mean he only came round to take me to the army to enroll me, after I turned 16, which is when I started this book. He caught me reading it and managed to find where I hid all the rest of my books. I remember he dragged me outside and threw the books on the floor before making me set them all on fire and watch them burn. After that, I never saw him again. Or the books I stopped reading for the longest time and just focused on my school work. Johnny introduced me to some pretty cool DJ books when I met him."

"I see. Well, if you want, you can have any book in this library to keep, "Drac says, turning to look at all the millions of books around us.

"Wow really? I would love that thank you." I smiled hugging him again and I felt him hug me back pretty tightly causing me to blush again, "I was wondering, would you like to finish this book with me? It would be nice to spend more time with you."

His face turned red and he did that cute goofy smile again before mumbling through his words, "i-i would I... sure..."

"Hehe, great meet me here at say midnight?" I ask, giggling at how adorable he's acting. He doesn't say anything but just nods. I smile standing up, "I'm going to find Mavis. She mentioned having a room set up for me when we bumped into her during the tour."With that, I smile at him before leaving the room happy.
