(From here on, every chapter will be laid out like this so no more POV or Narrator stuff)
Many hours pass by. As you watch the clock hand tick by, your patients grow thinner with every second. Annoyed, you pace around the library waiting for Dracula to arrive, turning to face the bomb on the wall only to see it show 12:34 a.m. You couldn't help but storm your way to the sofa in front of you and just decide to grab the book and leave, you couldn't be asked to wait any longer for him. You understand he has responsibilities, and he needs to work on the hotel but if someone schedules with you - they better arrive on time or have a bloody good reason as to why they are late for you to care. As you approach the door, part of you says to look around because that's the one thing you haven't done in this room! You have admired its beauty; its size; The few books you have seen; and the fact it feels so home-like. You walk up and down every single aisle you see and notice so many books you have never read before. But what really catches your eye is the Stephen King books, the Harry Potter Series, and the lord of the rings. Try as you may, you could not resist grabbing all the books you saw from those series placing them in a small basket you found by the door. When you turn to look at the clock on the wall - the ticking sound no longer audible - you see it shows 1:00 a.m. You sigh once more and walk out of the library taking the basket with you.
Turning the corner towards the main hall, the sound of talking and yelling breaks your concentration causing your curious side to come out and investigate. When you reached the main hall, you noticed everyone crowding around someone, you couldn't tell who, though. Continuing into the room, you shuffle through the large crowd to see what's going on, only for your eyes to grow large with shock as you come face to face with the woman everyone was crowding around, "Amanda..." you ask, not believing what you were seeing.
"(Y/N) Is that you?" Amanda asked, eyes almost as wide as yours.
You giggle slightly before starting to cry as you jump hug Amanda, her arms wrapping around you as the two of you embrace, "it's been 10 years, where have you been!" You ask, letting go and lading on your feet.
"It's a long and complicated story. I'll explain everything to you later. What are you doing here?!" she asks.
"I'm here visiting an old friend and his family." You reply, turning to Johnny, Mavis, and Denis. "Why are you here? This isn't the kind of place you would be."
Amanda smiles at you and nods. "Yeah this isn't exactly my scene, grim and dark isn't my territory but when Andrew told me you were here I needed to see it for myself. I was scared of these... creatures have taken you hostage or worse!"
"No no no, I'm fine. Trust me there is nothing wrong here. In fact, I think you would like it here more than you know." You reply turning around to see Dracula emerge from the crowd. You turn back to Amanda to see her face turn pale clearly frightened by the prince of darkness, "Hi Drac!"
"Stay back you monster!" Amanda yelled, grabbing your hand, aggressively twisting you behind her.
You hastily run in front of Amanda again and place your hands on her shoulders, "Hey, it's okay, he isn't going to hurt you. Or me." You smile reassuringly at her trying to calm your friend down. You hear Drac come closer behind you making you move out of his way as he looms over Amanda.
He looks at Amanda confused before smiling subtly at her, "I wasn't expecting any human guests today, who do I have the pleasure of meeting," He clearly asks, trying to alter the mood of the room. Amanda sadly could not see this and instead just backed away from the vampire pulling you with her. You turn to Drac, giving him a look as if to say, I'll talk to her. You watch Dracula demand everyone leave that room and provide the visitor with some space. Everyone leaves you both alone, aside from Johnny who Drac had told to stay and talk to her.
((I know this part is short but honestly I did not have time to complete it and I really wanted to get this part out. Just know there was more written to this but this part was bad already and the ending just made it worse. To summarise what I had written. You and Amanda are childhood friends like Johnny. She completely vanished 10 years ago and suddenly appeared again now. She hates all things monster and scary. You and Johnny did manage to convince her that everyone here was good but only a little as she still doesn't appreciate them. Other than that - that's essentially all you need to know about this
Please forgive me for this part. I know it's sloppy but... I was struggling to come up with an idea for this part. I promise the following parts will be better.))
