I'm tired. I arrive back in Stars Hollow and go straight to the diner, up the stairs, and change out of my uniform.
People have figured out that I am almost completely non responsive to any kind of human interaction until I am able to get out of this skirt.
Most days I barely make it off campus before my tie and blazer are off, and my shirt is unbuttoned, leaving me in my cami undershirt, and my pleated, plaid, piece of fabric from hell.
Today with it being so cold my blazer and shirt are left on, but still undone. After changing I come back down to see...
"Hi Willow."
"Hi... Nicole. Um, how are you?" I ask her awkwardly.
"I'm doing well. I didn't see you come in," she says.
"That's probably because I was in my school uniform, I just went up to change."
What the hell are you doing here?
"You started a new school?"
"Yeah, at the beginning of the year. Chilton actually."
"Oh, that's where Rory went, right?"
"Yeah."
"Nicole!" Lorelai says shocked as she comes in.
"Hi, Lorelai."
"Well, I'll be. Look at you there."
"It's nice to see you," Nicole replies.
"Yeah. Does Luke know you're here?"
"Yeah, he's just in the back. Do you want him?"
"No, I don't want him. I don't want him." Loerlai's rambling lets me slip away.
Luke was in fact in the back.
"Um, excuse me sir. There is a blonde woman eating at the counter who suddenly doesn't hate you. When the hell did that happen?" I ask.
"What? What are you talking about?" he asks as he unloads boxes.
I take the box and start loading up a shelf, leaving him to open another.
"Nicole, Luke. A few weeks ago you were at each other's throats. You could barely talk to one another, and now she is happily sitting out there like you're buddies again. What's going on?"
"Alright. After you went upstairs last night Nicole stopped by. She wanted us to try dating again."
"So you're still married."
"Well, no."
"So you're getting a divorce still."
"Not exactly."
"I don't understand, Luke."
He stops working and looks at me.
"We are putting the divorce on hold. We are still technically married, but for now we are just dating, like how we started out. If it doesn't work I guess we'll still get divorced," he explained.
"Lucas Danes, you are something else."
"Back at cha' Willow," he replies.

After a few hours I go up to do my homework. After I'm finally done I head back to the diner.
"And I liked the old coffee pots. The news ones look stupid," Lorelai says before leaving.
I walk up to Luke. I take a piece of pie, sitting at the counter.
"I don't think your coffee pots are stupid Uncle Luke," I say smiling.
"Thank you, Willow," he grumbles before walking away.

How is life going? Lorelai and Sookie started a temporary catering business to bring in money until the Dragonfly is open. Sookie finally popped.
Kirk is well, Kirk. Lane and her band just found a new guitarist. Rory got a not so pleasant reaction to the article she wrote for her Yale paper.
Apparently Luke and Nicole are a thing again. I don't know how I feel about that. I guess I'm happy if he's happy, but to be honest I'm not completely fond of Nicole.
Speaking of Kirk, he had a date and came into the diner to have a practice date. I don't know how many times he started yelling and restarted the recording.
At some point I just stopped working and hid in the kitchen because he was frightening me. He is something else. Luckily his date did end up going well.
Lane went crazy over some marriage jug, which she ended up being wrong about. As a whole life is pretty good, crazy, but fun.
This is what I get for saying I'm bored.
