midnight hymn

'Do me a favor then' she echoed in a hallway of labyrinth
Boldly looking at its glowing bloodshot stare'
Get me out of here'-but of no request she touch its face
Rather a command;
For the midnight hymn who tries to strangle her

Murmur of cries her ears were heeding from the lips of a stranger
She's the thief who stole her identity from the door of yesterday
'Omen, omen, you painted me as one'
Underneath the blanket- witness of the exile

She who lasted with blank eyes til dawn comes in the way
And in its face it offers her a new day
Disaster-thundering words on her tangled and lost mind
Knowing the midnight hymn hypnotizes her no more;
She is one with it

'Roar darling' whispers of the voice coming from nowhere
Where she's trying to reach for the hiding moon
Stars-the illusionistic gem sparkling with a false hope
'Don't order me, don't you dare'
As tears breaks out from the cell she worked so hard to close

Now she holds the chain of the creature who lifted her from the abyss
Making it bow its head down before her weary and tired smiles
Their eyes met, bloodshot and hazel stare overpowering each other
She who tamed the midnight hymn
-Ever melancholy and mad midnight hymn
