Minutes went by, and soon did hours, and before Chelsea knew it, it was the next day. There she was laying on the bedroom, groaning at the alarm clock and glancing at the blank peice of paper that lay beside her. She grumbled at herself.

She couldn't think of any lyrics, and she was angry at herself.

The first draft, she threw away because it was too obvious that Olivia was the subject of the song. The next one was too vague. So vague, that it sounded like a totally different song than what she intended.

She was stuck in a rut, and she hated it.

She grumbled the whole time while getting ready. She grumbled while walking to school because her family had work in the morning, and she grumbled on her way to the school's hallway. She held a book close to her chest with crossed arms, intended for the song-writing. She made her way to the usual spot where she and Ashley would hang out before classes started: By her friend's locker. When she made it over there, however, Ashley was nowhere to be found. She was always here in the morning. Was something going on?

"Heeey!" Olivia's cheerful shout almost startled the red haired girl. "What's up?"

"O-Olivia..?"

"Didja write your song yet?"

"...No."

"Didja think about what it's gonna be about yet?"

Chelsea looked away.

"Um.."

"You did, didn't you!?" Olivia said. "Oh my goodness, tell me!"

"I- I can't just tell you."

It was then when Chelsea was faced with her biggest weakness.

Olivia's puppy-dog eyes.

Chelsea's eyes widened at her newfound opponent. Olivia stared at her and started frowning. Immediately, Chelsea turned away. Olivia darted over where she was looking, and the redhead shot her gaze away again, soon the two girls were moving back and forth, like they were watching a tennis ball go back and forth.

"Pleaaase?" Olivia said.

"N-No! I really can't tell you!"

"Why noooot!"

"Because- it's a secret.!"

"Oh!" Olivia pulled her head away. "Oh yeah, you're right! It's a secret. It'd make it extra special if I didn't know what the song was before you sang it up on the big stage.." Chelsea was glad that the blonde convinced herself to stop pestering her. "Buuuut- wanna tell me anyway?"

"Olivia! No!" Chelsea cried.

"Pleaaase!? I won't tell anyon- Oh! I know! I'll tell you a secret of my own." Olivia said. "That way, if you tell me your secret, we'll be even!"

"Um... I don't feel comfortable saying it.."

"Why not?"

'Because it's about you.'

Of course Chelsea knew she wouldn't say that, but she could think it.

"Fiiine. I'll just tell you a secret of mine, then maybe you'll feel more comfortable telling me yours!"

"Um..."

"Okay!" Olivia clapped her hands.

"I-I didn't even say yes," Chelsea said. Despite being pulled along for the ride, she couldn't help but giggle.

Spending time with Olivia regardless of what the situation was always made Chelsea happy. Besides, Olivia was the girl that Chelsea wanted to spend the rest of her days with.
