3rd person POV

All the 2 could think about was the kiss. Mattia couldn't stop smiling on his way home. Watching the street lights pass as the car drove by them.

"Why are you so happy?" Mattia's mom asked. Mattia just shrugged and kept looking out the window.

You may think that Alex was the one thinking about the kiss but it was actually Mar. Alex was asleep next to him while he was up replaying the kiss in his head. A slight sob came from Mar waking up Alex.

"What's wrong, Bubba?" She asked as she rolled over.

"Nothing," Mar said, keeping his back to the girl. A sigh was heard from behind him. In one swish movement, Mariano was on his back with Alex sitting on top of him. She grabbed his hands and looked down at him.

"Tell me what's wrong." She demanded.

"I um I was just sad for you, that's all." Alex rolled her eyes knowing that wasn't true. Alex let go of Mar's hands and laid on his chest. Mar quickly wrapped his arms around the girls back and they both slowly fell asleep.

The next day Alex wore sweats and a sweatshirt to school. Mariano forced her to go to school because he thought it would be good for her.

Alex walked slowly through the halls when she felt an arm wrap around her. She looked up and saw Alejandro.

"Hey princess." He smiled down at her. Alex raised an eyebrow making Alejandro giggle.

"What it's a cute nickname." They stopped at her locker and he leaned against the one next to hers.

"How are you?" He asked. Alex stopped getting her books and looked down. She placed her bag on the floor and hugged Ale.

"Hey, guys." Alex heard Kairi's soft voice behind her but she continued the hug. Alex didn't know that the boys were talking last night and said to act normal today and not pitty her. They knew she hated that.

Mattia felt jealous watching the 2 hug but he was the one who kissed her, so she has to like him back... Right?

Alex pulled away and turned to the boys.

"Hi." She said softly.

"Woah! You're talking to us now!" Robert jumped up and down. Alex laughed a little.

"I guess, I feel safe and loved around you guys."

"Well good because we all love you. Some more than others." Alvaro shot Mattia a glance, making Alex smile. Her smile soon faded and all the boys noticed.

"Hey, let's cheer you up, there's a party tonight, wanna be my date?" Alejandro asked making Alex turn to face him.

"Um sure, I'll ask Matthew-" The girl's face went pale and tears streamed down her cheeks. Alejandro pulled her into another big hug and she cried into his chest.

Time skip
Alex made it to her locker to find a tall figure waiting for her.

"Hi, Mattia." The girl said softly.

"So your Ale's date to the party?" Mattia asked, jealousy and anger laced in his tone. Alex nodded which made Mattia madder than he already was.

"Not talking to me again?" Alex rolled her eyes and shut her locker.

"Mattia, " Alex took a breath before continuing. "I still am very scared of you and I don't want to be around you."

"But-but our kiss?"

"Meant nothing." Mattia looked crushed. He took a step back from the small girl in front of him.

"Alex, I like you a lot. And I just want to make you happy and be with you."

"Mattia, I'm sorry... I like someone else." Mattia wasn't gonna take no for an answer.

"So you're saying you don't like me at all? So if I kissed you right now you would pull away?" Alex choked on her words. She wanted to say 'no I don't like you.' But the thought of Mattia's lips on hers again made her feel some type of way. Before she knew it she was up against the lockers, Mattia's face just centimetres away from her.

Alex had enough of this and pushed the tallboy away.

"Mattia, I told you. I like someone else."

"So you don't like me at all? Not even a little?"

"I don't know Mattia. But even if I do, I'm not ready for what you want. So much shit has happened to me and right now the only guy I need is Mariano, he's been there for me through everything and I just need him right now. I lost my big brother Mattia. I need time." With that, Alex walked away.

Alex flopped down on her bed in her new room. Mariano spent all-day setting it up for her in his house since she will be living with him now. Mar was out now, doing Mar stuff leaving Alex with her thoughts, which is never good.

Laying on her back she felt hot, salty tears running down her cheeks, pooling at the corners of her mouth. The fragile girl tried to mask her emotions from her friends but as soon as she was alone she suffocated is them.

Her fingers began to cramp ad she was tightly holding a stuffed bear Mathew gave her. Alex shot up trying to get air as it felt as if someone was sitting on her chest. She moved the bear to the side so she could hold her chest. Loud sobs could be heard thought out the whole house. Alex felt as if her world was coming to an end. All this darkness and pain that she's been trying to hide for years hit her like a truck.

A loud knock on the door was heard from downstairs. Alex slowly made her way up and to the front door. Finally reaching it she was greeted by the boys.

"Hi." She whispered.  Her messed up hair, red, puffy eyes and tear-stained cheeks made the boys smile fade away.

"Oh, Alex," Kairi said as he pulled her into a hug.

"It hurts Kai." She sobbed into his shoulder.

"I know, but I'm here for you."

"So you ready for the party?" Alvaro asked as they made their way into the living room. A yelp of pain soon followed as Robert hit him in the back of the head. Alex thought for a minute.

"I'll go get dressed." She said, grabbed Kairi's hand and the two went up to her room.

This action left Mattia wondering if Kairi was the boy Alex liked. He hates to admit it but they would look cute together, not cuter than he and Alex of course but a close second.

This is just a filler chapter and just to kinda get a look at how Alex feels. I'm not good at writing about people be very sad like how Alex is but im gonna try my best so sorry if it's bad. The next chapter is gonna have some shit in it! Stuff gonna go down at the party.❤
