chapter 14

Alex's POV

I woke up and felt around for Mattia but there was nothing there. I sat up and looked around my room. I saw a note on my desk so I walked over to it.

"Sorry I had to leave but my mom called. Mar is home though so your not alone. I'll see you at school tomorrow but if you need me call me. Love you the most.
-Mattia"

I sighed. I don't want to talk to Mar, yea sure he was having a moment but what he said really hurt me. I went to my bathroom and started the shower.

The hot water hit my back and I let out a soft moan. I softly sang along to my music. Sweater Weather began to play and I smiled. This song played while Mar and I were dancing in the rain.

I wrapped the towel around my body and opened the bathroom door.

"Alejandro!" I screamed once I saw him laying on my bed.

"Hey, baby." He smiled up at me. I noticed his eyes travelled down my body then up again.

"What are you doing here?" I said and held my towel tighter

"I wanted to see you." I scoffed a bit with a smile following. I grabbed clothes and changed in the bathroom. I caught myself smiling at the thought of having some alone time with Alejandro. I hope I don't like him still because that would be bad. No Alex! You like Mattia, you can't like two boys at once... Right? Yea, no you can't.

I walked out and jumped next to him. He laughed and sat up.

"So I wanted to talk." I sat up too.

"Yea what's up?" I noticed Alejandro got more serious.

"I still like you." I took in a sharp breath. "And I know you like Mattia more but I just needed to tell you. I also need to know something." I didn't know what to say.

"Y-yeah?"

"Why would you ever kiss me?"

"At the party?" Ale nodded. "I really liked you then and I still do now, but-"

"But you like Mattia better." A tear fell from Alejandro's face, onto my bed.

"Alex, please don't cry," I said.

"Ha, Alex and Alex." He smiled a bit which made me smile.

"Is there any way you could like me more? What if I take you out on a date?" Ale said and grabbed my hand.

"Why not, how about tomorrow?" Alejandro smiled.

"Perfect! Now I'm gonna go so you can talk to Mar." Ale said and left.

About 10 minutes later I went downstairs.

"Hey," I said softly. Mar turned around and put his glass of water down.

"Hey." He said. Damn this is awkward

"So..."

"So..." I bit my bottom lip. He wasn't gonna apologize so why am I down here.

"I'm gonna go back up to my room," I said and turned.

"No, please! Look I'm so sorry.  I didn't mean what I said, I was just so mad."

"Mad at what?" I asked once I turned around.

"Mad at the fact that Mattia can have you and I can't."

"So you are in love with me."

"It's hard not to be! You're every I want in a girl and we have such a close bond... I was scared of losing you and jealous of Mattia. And Alejandro. But I'm okay now, I just want you to be happy and be with Mattia."
